This week was an emotional roller coaster. It started good, but by Wednesday it was not looking good for us to close (on the house we are trying to buy) on Thursday. I had taken a few days off to get the packing done this week, so Wednesday I got really, really depressed. I spent the day in my PJs and slept a lot. Miguel is the one who is buying this house, so he is dealing the bank and the realtor. I have ZERO control over anything. This might be the most frustrating part of this whole ordeal. Miguel and I fought over the situation. I hate when we fight. The shitty thing is that the fight was all my fault. I was lashing out and it’s not his fault. Basically, what I am trying to tell you is that we didn’t move this weekend. The closing got delayed. Now we are hoping that we will be closing this coming weekend. We have to be out of this apartment by Dec.25, so the pressure is on. Plus, it is like Christmas time, so moving this month just sucks anyways.
Because my week was shot all to hell, I didn’t get much blogging done. I got a few books read, but not much blogging done. I skipped Friday and Saturday completely. Friday my preemie turned 6. My preemie turned SIX! I can’t believe he made it. I let him and his sister, (whose b-day is during summer), take the day off of school and I took them to a Children’s Museum. We all had such a great day.
In this picture they were trying to build a dam. Yes, she is wearing the pony ears from her halloween costume. She makes up her own fashions.
I had made an appointment for Saturday to have my dragon tattoo placed. I am so excited about it. The art needed some tweaking though, so we had to reschedule. I used the time to get some touch ups to my owl on my right flank, the yellows were fading. (i guess yellow does that after a few years). I also got a little something on my neck (or upper back, depending on who you ask).
KOMAC is my initials and my Miguel’s. I love how they look together. The tattoo sits right under my hair, so for now it is a peek-a-boo tattoo.
This Thursday the new Beyond the Books will be posted. This week we are discussing Christmas Decorations. (no offense of you are Jewish, or Kwanzaa, or some other variety of religion and don’t celebrate an actual Christmas, any holiday decorations will count for this). I am SUPER pissed that I can’t post photos of my own decorations because they are still packed. I am sure I will have something for this post, thou. I love looking at decorations, so please share yours!

Tonight I put together the new Read This Round Up edition for tomorrow’s posting. If you want to have your reviews and/or giveaways added, please click this link and submit them. I am always happy to get bookish photo submission for the editions. They don’t have to be new photos, so long as you have the rights to them. In exchange for allowing us to post them you get credit and link backs on every site that plays along. Check out the photo submission page for more details.
The new edition posts on Monday, so any reviews that you want to add by Sunday will be included in the next edition.
