Hello Lovelies! Welcome to my weekly wrap up!
This was a rough week. Thanks to everyone who commented last week with their condolences. I spend a lot of time with my son and this was a learning experience for me. There is a side of my son that remind me so much of my younger self. We are definitely closer now and have come to an understanding. I could go on and talk about the service but really my focus this week has been my son. That’s all I want to say about that.
I had Tuesday-Thursday off and I still didn’t manage to get much done. Most of my days were spent driving my son and his friends around, but it felt good to be helping him this week. I got zero workouts in and didn’t really get much reading done either. I am not behind per se but I am getting close to it.
This coming week I hope to knuckle down and get back on track. Besides getting back to reading and working out this week I also plan on getting my house holiday lights up. This is no small feat for me. Last year I had a good layout, but with only one plug the lights kept shorting out. I became an expert at changing fuses for those lights, even in the dark. This year I need to come up with something different, and buy all new lights since I happily threw all those sets away. (before you ask, yes they were advertised as “outdoor lights”. i have no idea why they kept shorting out)
Oh! I almost forgot to mention that I went to my local library for their semi-annual book sale this past Sunday with my youngest daughter. She had so much fun filling her bag (it was $5 per bag on Sunday). I snagged a few books for myself, as well.
Fitness this week:
Nothing really happened this week. I had such good intentions but it looks like I will be starting over again at week one of Fit Body Guide on Monday. I am not giving up. My workout routine is so important right now with all the food and holiday treats in my face. I am actually down 3 lbs just from having my routine thrown off. That was one good thing about it.
I didn’t do as well with water intake this past week either. Next week I will get back to it.
I did add some fitness books to my TBR and I am hoping to have some motivation and hopefully some recommendations for fitness reading. See, those things can be combined!
