mv Hello Lovelies! Welcome to my weekly wrap up!

This week has been full of highs and lows.

The high came early this week when I realized that my application status has been upgraded to “referred” which means I am one of the top candidates for the position. I should get a call for an interview soon. *fingers crossed* This job would be Mon-Fri and holidays off. I would no longer be considered “essential” so I wouldn’t be driving through blizzards to get to work. The hours mean I would be rotting in traffic even longer, but I am willing to make that sacrifice.

The low came later this week when my son got in trouble at school again. He was basically yelling in the cafeteria and they charged his with “breach of peace”, a misdemeanor. It wouldn’t be so bad except that we must appear in court and I am sure we will get the same judge. I hope he doesn’t throw the book at him and send him to a boy’s home. We go to court on October 6th.

With a heavy heart I have decided to withdrawal my son from High School and allow him to explore other options. This makes me very sad but I know from personal experience that not every one’s career path includes the original high school experience. Mine didn’t. They offer night school for kids wanting GED or just to gain enough credits to graduate at his current school. My son is 17 and very far from having enough credits to graduate on time with his peers. I know I am making the right choice.

In better news, my oldest daughter, Belle, is doing really well in the real world. She is now employed (her first job) and is enrolled in college. I am so proud to see her tackling all these milestones. I am overjoyed to know that she is doing well.

I got a lot of reading and reviewing in this week. Some of my posts went up late in the day, but who cares right? I am starting to make a dent in those promised October reads and that feels good. I had eight promised reviews and 4 have already gone up. I also finally finished THE TWELVE so that review is going up next week. I am sad to say it has taken like a month to read/listen to that book in it’s entirety. I am only sad now that I can’t count it in my September reviews.

Fitness this week:

None. This week mentally kicked my ass, so no.
