Reading time 5 mins

mvmHello Lovelies! Welcome to my weekly wrap up!
It is hot outside y’all. The other day the news reporter was talking about the signs and symptoms of heat injuries and where to go in the city to cool off. Haha! Southern states have been enjoying this natural sauna for MONTHS now. I am just glad we have a/c. Can you believe a/c is not standard here in New England? I find that downright barbaric!

I have been working a lot this week. I am not happy about my part-time job becoming more like full-time. At least I am getting out of the house a bit, though. I actually needed a break from the house this week. I was unable to sit down for more than three minutes before either my Miguel or the babies needed something that only Mom could provide. The good news is that Miguel is doing much better now. He is refusing my help this weekend for most things. I want to do it for him, but I am glad he isn’t taking advantage of my empathy. As for the babies, school starts in three weeks! I’ll be missing them then. I only got three books read this week.

This Thursday the new Beyond the Books will be posted. This week we are discussing Our Pets (or why you don’t have any). I can’t wait to see your babies, or find out why you don’t have any.

Oh! Today starts the ARC August! Reading Challenge. I am going to try to use this to catch up on NetGalley. Click the graphic to join in and/or see who else is playing.

My July Wrap Up and August TBR

Thanks to Tim Duggan Books, BookSparks, Ford AudioBook Club, and my local library!

Tonight I put together the new Read This Round Up edition for tomorrow’s posting. If you want to have your reviews and/or giveaways added, please click this link and submit them. I am always happy to get bookish photo submission for the editions. They don’t have to be new photos, so long as you have the rights to them. In exchange for allowing us to post them you get credit and link backs on every site that plays along. Check out the photo submission page for more details.

The new edition posts on Monday, so any reviews that you want to add by Sunday will be included in the next edition.
