mvmHello Lovelies! Welcome to my weekly wrap up!

This has been one of the hardest weeks of my life. I am not even trying to be funny, this week had high highs and rock bottom lows. I am glad it is over. Tuesday I went on an observed visit for my job. I passed, but it was really nerve racking. I am so sick of being the new person. I can finally work on my own now. Yeah! That is one good thing. I am just sorry now I almost gave myself a stomach ulcer worrying about it.

Wednesday my Miguel had his knee surgery. I wanna rehash the whole story and tell you how I waited for him for like 6 hours alone (you cannot imagine the thoughts that ran through my head while i sat there waiting), but it is over now. I am just really glad he came though okay. I visited him on Thursday and then Friday I stayed at the hospital overnight with him. The hospital is over an hour away, but I couldn’t not see him. It was so hard letting other people care for him at the hospital. I am serious control freak and it took everything in me just to let the nurses do things for him. He came home yesterday, and in so much pain. He is so helpless. I know what to do, I am a nurse after all, but watching him suffer brings me to tears more than I want him to know. I want for this recovery to be done already. Ugh!

After the week I have had, it is no wonder now that I am feeling like shit. My throat is scratchy and I have been awakened with a throbbing headache everyday this week. I apologize for not commenting back that much this week. The hospital had no internet for patients. I wasn’t able to leave comments from my phone, (something about javascript, i don’t know), but I read a bunch of posts and starred the ones I need to revisit. I’ll be visiting you all very soon and leaving my thoughts.

This Thursday the new Beyond the Books will be posted. This week we are posting The Real Me (if you REALLY know me, you’d know….). This should be a really fun topic. You don’t have to get too personal if you don’t want to. Feel free to talk about your blog habits, the way you review, your favorite books or colors, whatever! I cannot wait to see what everyone writes.

I am always happy to get bookish photo submission for the editions. They don’t have to be new photos, so long as you have the rights to them. In exchange for allowing us to post them you get credit and link backs on every site that plays along. Check out the photo submission page for more details.

The new edition posts on Monday, so any reviews that you want to add by Sunday will be included in the next edition.
