The Sunday Post #38- The Start of Something Good

Reading time 4 mins

Hello Lovelies, welcome to my weekly wrap up! This was a really good week at work. Okay, it was only orientation, but all of the material presented and the history of my employer made me even more psyched to start working. Somehow, I was able to still get three books read and reviewed this week. I even scheduled a few posts this weekend, so I don’t have to stress this week about those two days. I feel like things are going to be okay, despite all my fretting over schedules and new situations. My kids are even taking the transition well. This is all just giving me the overwhelming feeling that the time was right for me to go back to work.

I am also really excited because I am starting a new feature here on KBK. I tossed this idea around for a while and decided to just go for it. I started a meme! (what? there are plenty are memes already!) No, not like this. My favorite meme that wasn’t about book posts stopped running in April, so I got permission to start something similar. I have never attempted to run a feature from here, so I hope it is well received. (what i really mean is, i really hope you all play along occasionally) For more details just click the link.

Last week I posted:

The Sunday Post #37- Last Week of Freedom!

FREEDOM’S CHILD by Jax Miller

TOP TEN TUESDAY: Books I Would Love To See On TV

NOT FROM HERE: A Memoir by Allan Johnson

A DEADLY WANDERING by Matt Richtel

Beyond the Books Announcement

Read This Round Up #37

Next week I plan to post:

Wishful Thinking by Kamy Wicoff

The Year My Mother Came Back by Alice Eve Cohen

The Book of Speculation by Erika Swyler

Currently reading:

Wishful Thinking is a lot of fun. It is about a woman who gets an app to go back in time and relive segments of her day. It is the perfect thing for a busy single Mom, but it comes at a price. I am really enjoying it so far. This book is part of the Summer Reading Challenge 2015 by BookSparks.

My Book Haul:

Thanks to GReadsBooks, MilkyWayofBooks, Arthur A. Levine Books, TLC Book Tours, and Kindle First Reads!

Aw, yay, I am glad that the transition is going well, and that the kids are handling it well, and most importantly, that YOU feel comfortable with it. It must be quite the change, but I am happy that it’s been a positive one! Hope you enjoy the books, and have a fabulous week!

  8. Okay, I swear I’ve been meaning to join in on your Read-This Round-up because I definitely want to support your new venture, but somehow I keep remembering to look at it on Monday – one day too late! But I just now saw that you can actually submit posts for the past two weeks, so I’ll go now and submit some from this week and last (is that right? – Let me know if that’s not right!)
