Welcome to my Monthly Wrap Up!
Whew! September nearly killed me! I had too much happening this month. Between the kids being back at school and My Miguel’s knee surgery, (oh and a little wedding planning), I am tired! This month had highs and lows for sure. I was in such a funk at the beginning of the month, I couldn’t even put a wrap up together. I skipped a few days of blogging and took the reigns on my mental outlook.
I didn’t get as many books read as I was hoping. BUT, one of them was almost 700 pages, so that’s okay. I am so excited to be making videos for BookTube again! It was really hard during the summer, but fall means the kids are back to school, and I have my house back. Kind of. Do you watch BookTube videos? What are your favorite things to watch?
Oh and I am getting into snapchat a lot lately. I love the 30 second videos that disappear about 24 hours. It’s like a magical place to me to vent, or brag, or muse, without putting too much thought into it. It is kinda like that thing I mentioned to Shannon on her post about Instagramming. It’s the 10 minute challenge that I need in my life! If you want you can follow me at Karen Blue (bluekare).
I posted Four Videos this month:
I reviewed 9 books in September (click the cover to see the review)
I published 20 posts in September
I published one 5 star review this month
Now that I am thinking about it, I am really stingy with my 5 star rating. I am still reeling from some of my 4 star books this month. How is it that I am so hung up on what may be negative things that I can’t rate a book 5 stars because someone might not like something about it? I need to get back to rating with my feels. Maybe? I just don’t know. Despite this being the only 5 star book for me, it wasn’t the best of the bunch.
Best of the Bunch was…
It’s by the same author, so there’s that.
