Black Chandelier Pasties

I love wearing things that make me feel sexy. I was really elated when House of Kandies asked me to review a pair of nipple pasties for them, especially when I saw their selection online! They have many really beautiful pasties to choose from.

House of Kandies is based out of Los Angeles, CA. They sell a large selection one-of-a-kind handmade pasties and unique bustiers. I had a really hard time picking out which ones I might want to try. I finally decided on the Black Chandelier Pasties. The Chandelier style I got for this review comes in white, green and black.

I am very happy with this selection. They look just like they did n the website. The pasties came to me in a discrete envelope and wrapped in pink paper. These pasties are handmade with lots of love in the details. The are really pretty and look expensive. They are lighter than they look and look really great on. The backs are vinyl and rounded to fit on the nipples.

They are made for more than one use. The pasties do not come with adhesive, so that is really the only downside. I used a bit of lingerie tape for the review. The tape I bought at target for about $8. It held the pasties in place for a good while without showing signs of wanting to come off. The pasties are detailed, but not heavy at all. If I was going out wearing these I would use some spirit gum for a good secure adhesive. Spirit gum has a bit of a learning curve, but there are spirit gum removers on the market that make removal painless. The House of Kandies website says you can use eyelash glue as well. Eyelash glue is made for use on the skin, but I am unsure about how to remove it without creating ouchies.

I really wanted to wear these to the New Years even party, but it just didn’t happen. There are plenty more events coming up… Most of the venues we attend require the nipples to be covered. These black chandeliers are a great way for me to feel sexy and revealing without actually breaking the rules. These pasties add a lot of flair to the pastie look. I have seen woman wearing lots of styles of pasties, but I have never seen anyone wear pasties with this much wow! They are not only comfortable to wear but really original. I think these will work for any woman wanting to add some pizzazz to their look.

I am storing these pasties in the envelope they came in until I find something safer. I have handled and worn these quite a bit and I am happy to say that nothing looks like it is coming apart. With a bit of care these pasties can last for a long time. The lingerie tape I used came off clean without leaving any sticky residue. Vinyl can be cleaned with a bit of soap and water.

Handmade Vegan Flogger

I love a good flogging! The smack of falls, the sounds, and the stingy pain. Something about the pain helps me to release. I know this is mostly an acquired taste. Most of my swinger friends do not play this way. One of my favorite memories was a night at the club when they had flogging demonstration. I was introduced to the BDSM community that night. I have been an eager student since then and Miguel and I have enjoyed discovering exactly what about this turns me on. Admittedly, Miguel and I only dabble in BDSM. Being submissive and getting flogged is something I really enjoy from time to time. When Agreeable Agony asked me what I might like to review on the site, I was overjoyed to see that they had a Handmade Vegan Flogger available.

 

I am not worried too much about whether something is vegan. Just so you know, it doesn’t matter to me. I liked the fact that this flogger was customizable. I liked the fact that it was shipped fast. I loved the fact that I learned the name of the man making it for me and that I could choose how big I wanted it to be. The flogger I ordered was the standard sized (it comes in small or giant as well). I was also able to pick the style of handle, I choose the dragon scale. The other styles of handle they offer are standard (wrap over wood) or deluxe (leather/vinyl style). They also give a choice of four sizes for width of the falls. (I chose the standard/medium falls) The price of the flogger you choose will change slightly depending on what style, size, and handle you choose. The one I received for review had 18 falls. The handle was a bit over 7″ and each of he falls were about 20″ long.

The flogger is made out of recycled materials, with rubber falls. The handle is a good size and the whole thing has weight. The flogger is over 30″ long. Miguel reports that the flogger performed really well for him. I can tell you that this flogger packs a punch. The site says that their vegan flogger is a bit more stingy than a leather flogger. They were dead on. The falls didn’t leave any marks, but the session had a bit more bite.

This may be because they cut all the falls at an angle. I couldn’t tolerate the long sessions with this flogger. The pain produced by this flogger is quick and intense. This would not make a good beginner flogger, except maybe for those overachievers that want to dive right in.

This flogger can be cleaned with soap and water if it becomes soiled. It is really easy to keep clean really. The handle has a loop on the end so it hangs easily. The nice thing about this flogger is that it if you do store it folded it won’t stay folded. The rubber will pop right back into shape.

We have purchased a few floggers over the years and I can tell you that this is one of the most reasonably priced floggers I have found. The only floggers we have ever bought that were in the price range of this flogger were mass-produced and wimpy. They were light weight and couldn’t produce a sting or a thud without wearing out the weilder. They couldn’t hold a candle to this thing. This flogger is heavy enough to produce a good smack. A handmade flogger at this price is a steal.

Elastabind Restraint Corset Review

The Elastabind Restraint Corset is a sexy addition to the Sex & Mischief line of light bondage play things for couples. I was really intrigued by the idea of a corset that not only cinches by serves as a restraint device.

Made for the small to average female, the Elastabind Restraint Corset is made of an elastic material with a PVC panel where the laces are located. It measures 19″ across and 3.5″ in height. It stretches quite a bit and the laces allow for a tighter or looser fit. The laces could be pulled out to fit. My hips measure about 40″, I did not pull out the laces at all though, if that gives you some idea about the stretch of this material. The corset is designed to sit right on the hip line, and line up with the wrists just touching the bottom of the hem. If the corset is too tight it will try to slide to a more narrow space (like the waist) and force the arms to be uncomfortably bend. Having the wrists restrained will keep this corset in place on the sides, but it won’t keep it from rolling under skin. Keep the size in mind if you decide to purchase this.

The restraints can be worn with the laces in the front or in the back for a more corset style fit. I found them a bit more comfortable to wear with the laces in the front since it seemed like it put my arms more in front of me. The laces are the thick shoe-string type.

The wrist restraints are tight but not uncomfortable on me. They are larger than the average wrist restraint by more than double. They came up pretty far on my arm. My wrists/arms are pretty slim so this was a nice tight comfortable fit for me. There are no adjustments on the arm restraints. I found this a bit difficult to get my wrists into, but even more difficult to get out of.

Miguel really loved the idea of this corset. The execution took a little bit of effort. My hands/arms become useless in these restraints so even though doggy style looked ideal, I had nothing to hold myself up with. When we tried to use this during sex missionary it was a bit easier, but the whole corset slides up to the smallest part of my waist. Bending over something that actually matched the height of my hips was the most ideal use for these. Anything closer to the ground then that and it became a bit uncomfortable. Sitting down in these restraints required some effort as well, as they sit on the hips. Standing or kneeling in these is no problem, obviously.

The packaging for this was a large hard cardboard box. The box said that this could be used ” as a suggestive belt” since it is reversible. You can wear it with the wrist restraints tucked inside, it bulks up a bit with them under, but you really have to be looking for it to see the bulge. I haven’t worn these out, but I might someday. It would be a fun and discreet way to carry my own restraint.

I don’t think restraints are meant for the comfort of the wearer as much as they are to render them restrained. I didn’t get hurt when we used these. I probably could have gotten myself out with a lot of effort, nothing is really Karen-proof. But, I am a willing submissive….

Supersex Toner Balls

There are plenty of options for kegel balls. Lovehoney sent me the Tracey Cox Supersex Toner Balls this month for review. I use kegel balls to exercise my pelvic floor muscles. This simple exercise of contracting and releasing the muscle sounds easy and should be part of my routine. I get bored and I have to admit that I usually forget about it. Kegel balls are a great way to remind me to contract those muscles and make “working them out” a bit more interesting.

After having four children naturally it is sort of assumed that my muscles need toning more than a woman who has never had a child. Every woman can benefit from kegel exercise, no matter if she has had children or not. I use kegels everyday to prevent urine from leaking out without my consent (like when I sneeze). Stronger pelvic floor muscles means more bladder control. The pelvic muscles also contract during orgasm and can be used during sex for more pleasure. Having stronger muscles can enhance your sexual experience and help deliver more a powerful orgasm.

Materials: Silicone and Plastic

I prefer silicone and or plastic to metal and glass. Kegel balls should be easy to use and easy to clean. I actually own quite a few varieties of kegel balls. These Tracey Cox Supersex Toner Balls are good for beginners to advanced users. Ideally you will want to start with big, lighter balls and work your way up to heavy smaller balls. 1

These kegel balls weigh in at 76 grams. They feel heavier than the Fun Factory Smartballs, but it is really hard to tell. 2 They are 1 gram heavier then the LELO Luna bead blue colored balls, which are the heavier of the variety that LELO carries.

The nice thing about these balls is that they come ready to go with a 4″ pull string. I do not want to think about assembling my kegel balls. The pull string has a bit of stretch to it, but it is thick enough that I am not worried about it breaking anytime soon. Also, the end of the string is rounded (so unlike some other kegel balls I have owned), the string sits comfortably without poking me. The silicone on these balls has a bit of drag to it, so you might need some water based lubrication for insertion. The plastic on these balls is found in a circular pattern on both of the balls. If you click the picture above you can see the image bigger and check out the seam connecting the plastic and the silicone. There is a small seam, which may prove troublesome to clean down the road. I haven’t had a problem cleaning these so far since there is no gap as of yet. The balls are submerge-able and waterproof. Boiling or bleaching them might be a good option for keeping them absolutely germ free. I use soap and water or a sex toy cleaner, but I am admittedly less anal about such things. 3

The balls are firm without any give. Within the balls are smaller balls that roll around with movement and create a mild vibration. The vibrations are audible when I shake them, but cannot be heard at all when they are inserted. The balls are connected with silicone and can be bent at a right angle. I found them comfortable when inserted.

To be honest I can barely feel the vibrations as I move about with the Supersex Toner Balls inserted. I doubt I will ever be the type of gal that has an orgasm using kegel balls. I can’t really feel them vibrating at all as I move. I am just reminded to tighten up my pc muscles more than normal. I wear them for about 20-30 minutes at a time normally, but they can be worn for longer. The Supersex Toner balls can be worn for as long as you feel comfortable wearing them.

I loved the fact that these balls come with a storage pouch. The pouch is white with a white drawstring. I still want to wash them before and after use, but it is nice to have a discreet way store them.

The packaging for the Tracey Cox Supersex Toner Balls was not too discreet, but it was pretty informative. The plastic casing for the balls inside the very informative box was a nice touch.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The only bad news about these kegel balls might be the size for some. I don’t find them uncomfortable at all, but some women who have never had children might find the size a bit much. The balls bend and I had no probably fitting them at all. Just a thought before you buy. I liked the weight of these and found they gave my kegels a good workout. Keeping the size in mind I would have no problem recommending them.

Very Private School Girl Costume Review

How about a costume review to get us in the mood for tricks-n-treats!

I picked the Cheap Thrills Very Private School Girl costume thinking it would be a nice addition to my costumes to wear out to themed party. Being a swinger means I don’t have to wait till Halloween to wear a costume. This costume is much better suited for bedroom/private play. It is very revealing but also very comfortable.

Materials: 85% Nylon, 15% Spandex

Care Instructions: Machine wash cold, lie flat to dry

 

The front of the dress opens all the way down with a zipper. The picture of the costume makes it look like the zipper is silver with a black background, but the one I received had a white on white zipper. The dress comes in two pieces: the dress and the tie. The tie is really flimsy and try as I might I couldn’t really get it to tie right for me. Who cares thou, really? It is a little extra decoration, no one will notice the stupid tie when you put this on. The tie is the same material as the dress. The material doesn’t really wrinkle but it does curl, as shown in the tie here…

The collar connects in the front with a clasp. I found embarrassingly difficulty trying to work this clasp using a mirror. I know I could have made Miguel help me, but having him help me put it on takes some of the allure away from the outfit. Once I got that clasp done it was easy to zipper up the dress and slide the elastic tie over my head.

The material of this dress is pretty sheer. I could clearly see my nipples through the dress. I think this is part of the allure of this sexy piece, but it makes it unfit for public consumption. The dress is also very short. I know at 5″8″ I am tall, but really my legs give me most of my height. This dress will most likely show off your derrière, no matter how high you stand. It is made to be sexy and showing ass is sexy.

I am not made like the a playboy bunny, but this dress fit me pretty well. 1

I have to say I liked the way this dress fit. If I wanted I could have pulled the dress down over most of my ass, because the material is so stretchy. It rides up right away, so I just let it be. When I pull it down it doesn’t sit right on my hips. It looks like this…

I doubt I will ever wear this out, but who knows? Miguel likes it enough that I will probably just wear it for him.

I should mention that this same style comes in black with red trim. If you are really worried about nipples showing through, you might want to try that color scheme instead. I thought the white looked good with the pink, the black and red is a bit naughtier looking.

The packaging for this dress was a cardboard box. It shows the model wearing it on both sides, so it is not very discreet. But it is actually pretty good for storage.

The Very Private School Girl costume is available at SheVibe. Last I checked, it was around $35. I think that is a good deal for something so cute.

Zestra Oil & Lube Review

I was approached by Zestra to try their new Arousal Essential Oil, as a bonus they sent me a sample of their Glide sensual lubricant. You may have heard about Zestra, as they have been advertising a bit. I think it is fabulous that arousal oils are starting to be more mainstream.

I am going to review both the Zestra Essential Arousal Oil and the Glide Lubricant.

Zestra Essential Arousal Oil

Ingredients: Borage Seed Oil, Evening Primrose Oil, Angelica Extract, Coleus Forskholii Extract, Theobromine, and the Anti-Oxidants Vitamin C and Vitamin E: and flavor

Zestra comes packaged in either a pump bottle or a single dose personal packette. Zestra was kind enough to send me the pump which holds 0.406 fl. oz. It is suppose to last up to 12 uses. The instructions say to apply Zestra to the clitoris and labia and within 3-5 mins the sensation will begin. The peak of this product is suppose to be 10 minutes after application and then it wears off after about 45 minutes. The instructions say to apply Zestra before or during sexual stimulation, if you plan on using a lubricant apply Zestra first and wait five minutes.

I applied Zestra and it took about 3 minutes to feel anything. The first thing I noticed was the smell, which it potent. I applied Zestra on labia and clitoris. It felt like a gentle warming sensation. Not like a warming lubricant a bit more mild than that. I could feel it for about 45 minutes with the peak being after about 10 minutes. I would compare this to the sensation I got from Blossom Organics arousal oil. It felt like blood was rushing to the surface and it heightened my sensitivity. Zestra had about the same consistency, being rather runny. Zestra is clear and has a gel like appearance. Zestra washes off with soap and water, it seems to leave a film or slightly waxy feeling when it is just rinsed off with plain water.

Zestra is so much like Blossom Organics Arousal Oil that I would not be able to tell the difference, honestly. It has a waxy smell to it though. I don’t really know how else to describe it. It is unpleasant. I could smell it with my hand extended away from my face and it tastes kind of bitter. I would not recommend ingesting this product.

This product is not compatible with latex condoms or with anyone pregnant or nursing. Being that this is an oil based product it can be used with polyurethane condoms. It is safe to use with silicone sex toys and lubrication. It is not harmful if ingested, but it tastes awful!

I would only use this product without my partner. I know it is safe to ingest, but I could not ask him to taste it. After I tried it, I would not ask anyone to taste it. It took a while for me to get the taste out of my mouth and it was unpleasant. I paired my experience of Zestra with a clitoral toy and I found it focused my attention on that one spot on my body. Zestra was tested in some clinical trials and the website offers that information to the public here. I think it works pretty good as an arousal oil, but there are products on the market that work better without the smell/taste. I would not recommend this oil, I would suggest either Blossom Organics or ON by Sensuva.

Glide Sensual Lubricant

Ingredients: Purified Water, Natural Vegetable Glycerine, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Xanthan Gum, Sodium Citrate, Aloe Vera Leaf Extract, Citric Acid, Potassium Sorbate, Vitamin E

The bottle I received of Glide was 3.0 oz. It has a slide open top that allows the water-based lubricant to come out. As a matter of personal preference, I like a pump top for lube. The good thing about this top is that it makes it easier for travel. Glide has a slightly citric smell that was far less potent than the Zestra Arousal Oil. I had to stick my nose right up to it to smell it. The taste was much better too, somewhat like muted fruit. The taste lasted only a few seconds and the it was gone. The lube itself is cloudy when I first dolloped it onto my hand, it was clear once I smoothed it out. Glide was not runny at all and stayed where I put it, unlike the Arousal Oil.

It works pretty well and stays slick for a little while. It does not last as long as other water-based lubricants I have tried. It seems to absorb into the skin almost too well. On the upside, it doesn’t leave a sticky feeling behind. This lube leaves no sticky residue on the skin, it absorbs really nicely and leaves the skin soft. Also, Glide is non-staining. I ended up spilling some of it on the sheets and it disappeared when it dried.

Glide is something I would recommend to someone who doesn’t want parabens in their lube and appreciates something that won’t leave your skin needing a wash after use.

Be Wicked -Wicked Nurse Costume

This 3 Piece Wicked Nurse costume came to me from Sin Free Toys for review this month. I am always looking for sexy costumes for the many theme parties we attend. This costume is very sexy and has some versatile features.

I ordered a m/l since and it fit pretty well. The corset of this costume is 100% polyester with plastic bowing, so hand wash only. The corset features a zip side and full lace up on the back. The satin laces on the front are more for decoration. The back of the corset has a flap that keeps the laces from hitting the skin and makes the corset more complete looking in the back.

The corset is really fun and true to size. I loved the buckles and the way the black made the white features stand out. This corset seemed good quality.  The bowing seemed well placed and the zipper makes this top easy to get on and off.

 

The petti-skirt of this costume was a bit sheer. I loved the peek-a-boo feature. The petti-skirt was not too tight and fit me perfectly. It could also be worn separately. I am impressed with the quality and love how sexy this outfit pulls together.

This outfit also came with a nurses cap. The cap was the only thing about this outfit that seemed cheap and disposable. I am really impressed with how they got it to look on this model! It was black polyester with the white shiny + in the middle. It has an elastic band to help you keep it on. This is the only thing about this costume I could have done without! Here is what it looked like in the package.

I could not get this thing to look good on me. I don’t think it is an essential item so I don’t feel bad showing you how this out fit looks on me without it. I really loved this costume. All I need is my stethoscope and some high heels to make this outfit complete!

Tantric Binding Love Hog Tie

We have never owned a hog tie, so when California Exotics asked me to pick my pleasure I jumped at the chance to get one! This month all the items for the Sexpert program were inspired by the bestselling book 50 Shades of Grey. No matter how you feel about the book you can’t deny the buzz it has created. I love the fact that it may have opened doors for some woman looking to expand their sexual horizons. This item was not necessarily used in the book 50 Shades of Grey but you can imagine that Christian would have used something like this on Anastasia in their love play.

So I got this gem in the mail and I waited for just the right time to get it out for Miguel and I to use. I knew I wouldn’t have to wait too long. Last Friday Miguel and I had a great date night and then headed home to find sleeping children…..the perfect time for us to try out our new hog tie.

Specs: 6.5” x 3” (wrist cuffs) 8” x 3” (ankle cuffs) 7” (straps)

Materials: 35% Rubber, 65% Polyester (cuffs) Polyester (bows) PP (hook connectors) Nickel-Free Alloy (hardware)

Each restraint is elastic and felt comfortable on me. I was able to slip these on without too much trouble and a bit of help from Miguel.

My wrists are 6″ and my ankles are 9″. They are small for my frame, which is a good thing. This hog tie is stretchy opposed to adjustable so size of your wrists and ankles will make or break this for you. The wrist straps are a bit smaller than the ankle straps for obvious reasons. I was able to get it over my hands and it stayed snug on my wrists without cutting off circulation or being too tight. I doubt you could really be too small to use this restraint system, but you could be too big. I was able to maneuver the wrist cuffs onto my ankles but then they were tight. (I did this so I could get a feel for how they would fit if my wrists were 9″.) In my opinion they were too tight to be worn comfortably for a long session. It is just really lucky that these cuffs fit me almost perfectly.

That being said we had a lot of fun with this restraint device! I loved the little bows and the heart shaped “D” ring. It is not meant for heavy play, this hog tie is mean to look cute…and it does. I think this set works well for restraining except for the fact that the cuffs don’t adjust to fit every size player. This really isn’t a one size fits all device. Too bad really!

 

It was much more comfortable being restrained on my back then having these restraints behind my back. The straps feel more sturdy and do not stretch. Miguel had to help me with them behind my back and then he reported his favorite parts of me were not exposed enough for him to get to. At first he had me strapped in to the four point system, but eventually he had to undo my feet so I was a bit more accessible. Miguel used the opportunity while I was tied up to help me test out some insertable items. This system was much easier than using ropes and it looked cuter as well. Add a blindfold and you could have your own 50 Shades of fun!

The packaging for the Tantric Binding Love Hog Tie was a cardboard box with a very sexy girl all tied up in both positions on it. The box wasn’t very discreet. The Hog Tie was in the box in a plastic bag. I store my Binding Love Hog Tie in the box in a drawer.
