I am excited for her to get her new sexy lingerie. Thanks to everyone who helped to spread the word about the giveaway and everyone who left thoughtful comments on my site.
Michelle was actually the first one to leave a comment on this giveaway, (the winning entry was a tweet). I think this is the second time she has won one of my contests. Most of my contests have what may seem like a lot of entrants, but actually being that each person can earn so many entries, the odds of winning are pretty good. This contest only had 31 people in the running after I removed 2 entrants for failure to follow instructions. (This contest might have had a smaller pool due to sizing restrictions.) I check all the entrants before I choose a winner, I hate cheaters. As far as the number who entered, I think that is about average. The odds of winning are even better if it is a short contest. The odds are even better for you if you come back and do the daily entries. I scoured the net for an odds app to show you how easy it is to win if you enter, but I had no luck finding anything but Lottery odds. (yeah, right, like I might want to share that mathematical impossibility with you!)
I was so inspired by all the contests going on for Valentine”s Day that I started entering every contest I could find. I had over 12 contests listed on my contests and giveaways page and you know what!? I actually won something from Jen over at GeekinmeReviews. Her contest had over 1300 entrants. Am I that lucky? No not really. Like me she had a few different ways to enter and I took advantage and entered almost daily (I really wanted that Lollipop!).
I have another giveaway coming up. I hope you take the time to enter and don’t get intimidated by the number of entrants. The odds of winning are probably better than you think!
Thanks for the post, I have always wondered about how many people actually are in some of the giveaways. I will have to do that after mine closes.
I think a lot of people don’t realize the odds are good when entering a sex-related competition. They tend to get fewer entries than giveaways for more mainstream products. On the other hand, I was one of those who didn’t enter this competition, or another that Madame Liberty sponsored on another site, because my body would in no way fit into their lingerie!
