Reading time 2 mins

mv Hello Lovelies! Welcome to my (semi)weekly wrap up!

As most of you know, I just returned from New Orleans this past Wednesday. I had a great time and didn’t take nearly enough pictures. Not that I could do that city justice with a few of my snaps, but I did try. Those of you that follow me on snapchat (and you are all most welcome to follow me there username: Karen Blue *motorcycle emoji*), know that I spent a lot of time drinking. Since I can’t really take good photos sober, I didn’t fare better with a few beers in my system. No matter, I could not have done that city justice with a camera. Your really just have to go and experience that place for yourself. The culture of that city is really unique.

I have been really busy with work since then and trying to catch up on blogging. I am proud to say that since Thursday I have almost read 2 whole books. Now I just need to find the time to write the damn reviews.

The main theme for me this week has been time and how I don’t seem to have enough of it. I know it is a common complaint for us bloggers, but I don’t have enough time even at work. This lack of time has effected every area of my life and it is just so damn annoying. I am also a little sleep deprived and that doesn’t allow me to function at my best when I am actually awake. I need a day or two of really sleeping in so I can get rid of these bags under my eyes.

Fitness this week:

I should just skip this part of my wrap up, but I need to mention here that I sprained my ankle while walking through New Orleans. That put a huge damper on my walking and so I have had to settle for 2nd place in all my walking competitions lately. There’s always next week, right?
