Hello Lovelies! Welcome to my weekly wrap up!
Tomorrow is my preemie’s 7th birthday. My 1.6 lb baby boy that had a 1-3% chance of survival is turning 7! That picture down below is him holding my finger. He was tiny and a bit transparent when he was born. he was actually due on April Fools Day, but he came December 11. The joke was on us. —>> scroll down for a recent picture of him
I am officially unemployed right now. I thought I would be starting at my new job this coming Monday, but no. There is a hold-up of some kind. I am hoping to get into their next orientation class which will be Dec.26. Fingers crossed. I am going to try to just enjoy the time off.
I got 3 books read this week! I am gonna try to read more now that I have some time off. I am happy to say I am enjoying quality time with my mom. She isn’t much of a reader. I gave her a book last year and she is only about half way through it. I think I picked the wrong kind of book for her. I think we need a trip to the library to see if anything peaks her interest. She has nothing but time. Kinda like me right now.
This Thursday the new Beyond the Books will be posted. This week we are discussing The Hardest Part of Your Job (and How You Deal With It).
Last week I posted:
Next week I plan to post:
