This week went pretty well. I swear I spend a lot of time just looking at my beautiful surroundings. Fall is such a cool season here in Connecticut. It is cool and windy (i think Winnie the Pooh called it blustery). There are trees in every shade of yellow, orange and red with a few still all green. I feel really lucky to live in such a beautiful state.
We got confirmation that the sellers are making the necessary improvements at the house we are trying to buy. I am so excited to be moving there.
Trick-or-treating last night was so fun. We went to the old part of our town, because everyone said that was the place to go. It seemed like everyone in Old Town went all out. One of the residents reported over 400 trick-or-treaters. There were haunted houses, and decorations everywhere. At one house, they were handing out jello shots for parents and down the street the owners handed me a sangria with fruit slices in it. The kids got tons of candy (including full candy bars. WHO does that?), and Miguel and I had a good time as well. Win!
I am a bit behind in reading. I think it is because I DNF’d again this week. Life is too short for books that suck.
This Thursday the new Beyond the Books will be posted. This week we are discussing Bad habits. Share yours and why you won’t give it up. Ever.

Thanks to The Reading Date!
Tonight I put together the new Read This Round Up edition for tomorrow’s posting. If you want to have your reviews and/or giveaways added, please click this link and submit them. I am always happy to get bookish photo submission for the editions. They don’t have to be new photos, so long as you have the rights to them. In exchange for allowing us to post them you get credit and link backs on every site that plays along. Check out the photo submission page for more details.
The new edition posts on Monday, so any reviews that you want to add by Sunday will be included in the next edition.
