This week was a it better, reading-wise for me. I am really excited about the reviews I have coming up and the books I have been reading. I DNF’d Awake. Life is too short for books I have no interest in finishing. I did post a little something on Goodreads, if you are really curious what I thought about it. I just finished Heir of Fire and now I kinda feel a book hangover. Seriously, should I just read Queen of Shadows now, or the many ARCs I have promised for review? (okay, that is not really a question, but i did consider just reading QoS and saying fuck it.) I feel like I am going to need a whole month of NO promised reviews to read all the good stuff I have acquired lately.
This week I tweaked my header a bit. I would love to hear your feedback. I have been very unhappy about my header in general lately. I am not sure I will keep it like this, or pick something completely new. I feel like I want something completely new. I feel like changing colors right now would mean I need to make all new graphics for all of my memes and stuff. I don’t know. Ugh!
I am really happy that all my kids went back to school this week (wahhoo!). Miguel also went back to work this week. He got his first short-term disability check and was suddenly very motivated to get back to work asap! In a nutshell, we are now flat broke. I am trying to stay positive, but being broke just sucks! Especially in this town where everyone seems to be living the good life with big fancy homes and driving nice fancy cars. We are expecting to get financial relief, but it may take a while.
This Thursday the new Beyond the Books will be posted. This week we are discussing The Worst reasons you ever bought/read a book. This should be FUN.
Last week I posted:

Tonight I put together the new Read This Round Up edition for tomorrow’s posting. If you want to have your reviews and/or giveaways added, please click this link and submit them. I am always happy to get bookish photo submission for the editions. They don’t have to be new photos, so long as you have the rights to them. In exchange for allowing us to post them you get credit and link backs on every site that plays along. Check out the photo submission page for more details.
The new edition posts on Monday, so any reviews that you want to add by Sunday will be included in the next edition.
