I recently got the new iGino One for review. The iGino One is a small clitoral toy with a lot of power. It is different from anything I have ever used. Although it is not completely without flaws, I really like it!
Dimensions: 4″ x 2″ (with a .5″ nub)
Materials: Abs Plastic and Ethylene Vinylacetate (EVA)
The iGino One is a one speed toy that charges via USB. The little nub in the center of the toy top slides back and forth really, really fast to produce clitoral stimulation. It also vibrates at the tip. It is called VibraMoove. It is suppose to mimic a woman masturbation with a finger. No way a finger could do what this toy does though. This toy really delivers with so much power I could barely stand it. It is a really great toy. The control for this toy is on the side, which feels right in my hand. It is easy to turn on and doesn’t turn off accidentally during play. One speed rarely does the trick for me. This toy only needed one speed.
The iGino comes with a foam cutout called skinTouch (the EVA portion) which is suppose to feel like skin. It is soft and actually absorbs some of the vibrations. The skinTouch attachment allows this toy to deliver a completely different, more subtle experience for women who may not like the jackhammer effect. I asked about EVA and it’s uses and this is what the iGino team had to say:
It is a polymer that approaches elastomeric materials in softness and flexibility, yet can be processed like other thermoplastics. The material has good clarity and gloss, barrier properties, low-temperature toughness, stress-crack resistance, hot-melt adhesive water proof properties, and resistance to UV radiation. EVA has little or no odor and is competitive with rubber and vinyl products in many electrical applications.
EVA is also used in biomedical engineering applications as a drug delivery device.
EVA is one of the materials popularly known as expanded rubber or foam rubber. EVA foam is used in vaginal rings and intrauterine contraceptive devices.
One of the reasons EVA is superior to PVC in regards to health and environmental impacts is that it does not require the addition of chlorine (which leads to the generation of dioxin, a highly persistent carcinogen) and it doesn’t require plasticizers (like BPA or phthalates). It is safe enough to be recommended by Health Care Without Harm for use in neonatal intensive care units, so you shouldn’t worry about your baby playing on it or gumming it up a bit.
The iGino has a cap which keeps it safe and clean between uses. Also, the cap can be used to store the skinTouch attachments. The cap clicks into place so you know it is on right. It is something that is built to last. The flower shaped head attachment can be used to dull the VibraMoove sensations. I am not sure what the other pieces are for.
The iGino charges with a USB. The clear button on the bottom left lights up along with the USB to show that it is charging. The iGino also comes with a USB cord adapter for charging from the wall. I love that it charges with a USB. I can charge it on the computer, making things real simple for me. The USB is cleverly folded into the bottom of the iGino One. It slides right out when I need it and hides away when I am done charging.
I love the discreet look of this vibe. It fits neatly into my hand. The sad part is how damned loud it is. The iGino is almost as loud as a hitachi wand. The power it delivers makes it all worth while though. If you are looking for something quiet, this toy is not for you.
The iGino is sort-of waterproof. I was really confused about this toy since the electronics are so exposed. I asked “is it waterproof?” and this is what the iGino team had to say:
Yes it is waterproof but we suggest not to immerse the massager and the charger in water or any other liquid, not rinse them under the tap.
That is a bit confusing. I use a sex toy spray cleaner or wipe to clean this toy. The plastic on this toy is compatible with silicone or water-based lubrication.
The iGino comes in a deluxe package that includes some instructions for care and use and a drawstring storage pouch. I don’t know what I would use the pouch for since it is so contained and hygienic in it’s cap, but it is nice that it came with it anyway.
I used this toy a few different ways. I started by placing the nub on my labia, trying to work up to the power. Eventually I found I could stand it directly on my clitoris and I even was able to apply pressure. Brute strength pressure will slow down the VibraMoove somewhat. I am a pretty aggressive player and this thing only ever slowed down slightly for me. I was really taken aback by the amount of sensation this toy delivers. I know this amount of movement isn’t for everybody. I can tell you that this toy is for me, absolutely.
This toy is not for woman that can get off easily. If you like light buzzy vibrations, this is not for you. If you want to try a portable hitachi, give this a try. The VibraMoove sensation is something I have come to love about this toy. After a few minutes I become a drooling, sweating mess of cum. It is mind-blowing.
I really felt like I had to show this thing to you in order for you to understand how different, beautiful, and powerful this toy really is. This review doesn’t cover it all. The pictures don’t really do it justice. In a world full of phallic sex toys, this is something really different. It is not without flaws but this toy blew my mind. I needed to put it on video. I know my little video isn’t all that, but considering how long it has been since I recorded anything, it is something at least.
