iGino One

Button quadrato

I recently got the new iGino One for review. The iGino One is a small clitoral toy with a lot of power. It is different from anything I have ever used. Although it is not completely without flaws, I really like it!

Dimensions: 4″ x 2″ (with a .5″ nub)

Materials: Abs Plastic and Ethylene Vinylacetate (EVA)

iGino One

The iGino One is a one speed toy that charges via USB. The little nub in the center of the toy top slides back and forth really, really fast to produce clitoral stimulation. It also vibrates at the tip. It is called VibraMoove. It is suppose to mimic a woman masturbation with a finger. No way a finger could do what this toy does though. This toy really delivers with so much power I could barely stand it. It is a really great toy. The control for this toy is on the side, which feels right in my hand. It is easy to turn on and doesn’t turn off accidentally during play. One speed rarely does the trick for me. This toy only needed one speed.

iGino One

The iGino comes with a foam cutout called skinTouch (the EVA portion) which is suppose to feel like skin. It is soft and actually absorbs some of the vibrations. The skinTouch attachment allows this toy to deliver a completely different, more subtle experience for women who may not like the jackhammer effect. I asked about EVA and it’s uses and this is what the iGino team had to say:

It is a polymer that approaches elastomeric materials in softness and flexibility, yet can be processed like other thermoplastics. The material has good clarity and gloss, barrier properties, low-temperature toughness, stress-crack resistance, hot-melt adhesive water proof properties, and resistance to UV radiation. EVA has little or no odor and is competitive with rubber and vinyl products in many electrical applications.

EVA is also used in biomedical engineering applications as a drug delivery device.

EVA is one of the materials popularly known as expanded rubber or foam rubber. EVA foam is used in vaginal rings and intrauterine contraceptive devices.

One of the reasons EVA is superior to PVC in regards to health and environmental impacts is that it does not require the addition of chlorine (which leads to the generation of dioxin, a highly persistent carcinogen) and it doesn’t require plasticizers (like BPA or phthalates). It is safe enough to be recommended by Health Care Without Harm for use in neonatal intensive care units, so you shouldn’t worry about your baby playing on it or gumming it up a bit.

The iGino has a cap which keeps it safe and clean between uses. Also, the cap can be used to store the skinTouch attachments. The cap clicks into place so you know it is on right. It is something that is built to last. The flower shaped head attachment can be used to dull the VibraMoove sensations. I am not sure what the other pieces are for.

iGino One

The iGino charges with a USB. The clear button on the bottom left lights up along with the USB to show that it is charging. The iGino also comes with a USB cord adapter for charging from the wall. I love that it charges with a USB. I can charge it on the computer, making things real simple for me. The USB is cleverly folded into the bottom of the iGino One. It slides right out when I need it and hides away when I am done charging.

iGino One

iGino One

iGino One

I love the discreet look of this vibe. It fits neatly into my hand. The sad part is how damned loud it is. The iGino is almost as loud as a hitachi wand. The power it delivers makes it all worth while though. If you are looking for something quiet, this toy is not for you.

The iGino is sort-of waterproof. I was really confused about this toy since the electronics are so exposed. I asked “is it waterproof?” and this is what the iGino team had to say:

Yes it is waterproof but we suggest not to immerse the massager and the charger in water or any other liquid, not rinse them under the tap.

That is a bit confusing. I use a sex toy spray cleaner or wipe to clean this toy. The plastic on this toy is compatible with silicone or water-based lubrication.

iGino One

The iGino comes in a deluxe package that includes some instructions for care and use and a drawstring storage pouch. I don’t know what I would use the pouch for since it is so contained and hygienic in it’s cap, but it is nice that it came with it anyway.

iGino One

I used this toy a few different ways. I started by placing the nub on my labia, trying to work up to the power. Eventually I found I could stand it directly on my clitoris and I even was able to apply pressure. Brute strength pressure will slow down the VibraMoove somewhat. I am a pretty aggressive player and this thing only ever slowed down slightly for me. I was really taken aback by the amount of sensation this toy delivers. I know this amount of movement isn’t for everybody. I can tell you that this toy is for me, absolutely.

This toy is not for woman that can get off easily. If you like light buzzy vibrations, this is not for you. If you want to try a portable hitachi, give this a try. The VibraMoove sensation is something I have come to love about this toy. After a few minutes I become a drooling, sweating mess of cum. It is mind-blowing.

I really felt like I had to show this thing to you in order for you to understand how different, beautiful, and powerful this toy really is. This review doesn’t cover it all. The pictures don’t really do it justice. In a world full of phallic sex toys, this is something really different. It is not without flaws but this toy blew my mind. I needed to put it on video. I know my little video isn’t all that, but considering how long it has been since I recorded anything, it is something at least.

U Touch Up

1600333-7

The U Touch Up is the brain child of Topco Sales and part of their UltraZone line. The U Touch Up is made for clitoral stimulation. It is made of quality materials and rechargeable. Unfortunately, it is weak and not made for pin point stimulation like a good clitoral vibe should be. Also the controls were really, really confusing.

Materials: Silicone and ABS plastic

Dimensions: 4.8″ x 3.35″

DSCN5412

The U Touch Up is rounded much like the LELO Siri. It fits nicely into my hand. It has a four button, no wait not button…well smooth button-like buttons that don’t require pressure. The problems for me began after charging this vibe for a few hours. I tried to turn it on. It has an up and down arrow and a plus and minus sign. Pushing the (+) doesn’t turn it on, even holding it down for a minute. Holding down any of the buttons won’t turn it on. ? Wtf! Turning it on should be the easy part! I finally decided to read over all the instructions, it wasn’t there. Then I finally found it on the box, on the side, like an afterthought..

“Press & hold (Λ) (V) button for 3 seconds to turn ON/OFF and change vibration pattern” -it has 6 vibration patterns

“Press (-) or (+) buttons to change vibration speed” -it has 16 speeds

First of all this is touch screen. So the buttons do not depress. Once I finally got it started, I hoped it was worth all the trouble…

U Touch Up

The vibrations on this toy were moderate. They felt a bit like the LELO Siri, but not as much power. Why does it have 16 speeds? The speed differences are very, very subtle. I barely noticed the difference. I found the touch pad confusing. Like where are the steady vibrations and how do I increase the patterns? Oh hell, let me pull out the box and refresh my memory. No. I don’t do this. I think this vibe could have been great if the would have kept the user in mind. A clitoral vibe should have intuitive controls. The one good thing I can say is that the U Touch Up is very quiet. It is so quiet I can barely be heard under a blanket and definitely won’t be heard through a closed door.

The U Touch Up recharges with a magnetic charger. Topco was nice enough to send everything I could need to charge this. The packaging included 110V, 220V and USB compatible magnetic charger. It is nice that you can charge this using the USB cord on a computer or plug the USB into the wall adapter and charge it from a socket. The magnetic charger is easy to use. It clicks into place and the screen lights up to let me know it is getting power. the charger lights up red when it is charging and the light goes out when it is charged. It takes about 2 hours for a full charge and gives about 2 hours of play time on it’s highest setting.

U Touch Up

U Touch Up

The silicone on this toy is smooth with a slight bit of drag. The white portion of this vibe is plastic. To help this toy slide along use a water-based lubricant. Silicone based lube will probably ruin the finish of this toy. Being that this toy charges with a magnet, I thought it would be water-proof. The U Touch Up is splash-proof, not waterproof. Bummer. To clean this vibe I use a spray sex toy cleaner or sex toy wipes.

The packaging for the U Touch Up was a really nice hard paper box with a slip sleeve over it. The toy comes nestled in a foam cut out. The box includes a little book with care instructions, all the cords for charging, and a paper insert with warnings on it. It also has the troubleshooting unlock instructions which say to press the (-) and (+) at the same time to unlock since the toy locks after 5 seconds with no action. I don’t really know what the hell that was suppose to mean, since it is always unlocked. Holding down those buttons didn’t make any difference. My toy never locked, so it was either defective or I misunderstood the directions. Whatever, this toy has confusing controls.

U Touch Up

U Touch Up

In use I found this toy frustrating. I need power and this toy left me wanting more! The tip portion of this toy is rounded off, so there was no chance of getting pin-point stimulation. I think this toy has power, but the amount of silicone around the motor absorbs a lot of it. The controls were confusing and not worth the trouble they caused me to figure them out. I hated that this toy was not waterproof, or easy to use, or powerful. If you like light vibrations and lots of variety in a toy that has a sharp learning curve, then this toy might be perfect for you. If not, I say pass. Pass on this confusing vibrator in a pretty package. Check out the LELO Siri instead.

Silicone Butterfly Miss

Sexpert

The good folks over at Cal Exotics sent me the Silicone Butterfly Kiss this month as part of the Sexpert program. This is the silicone version of their world famous number one selling butterfly. Unfortunately, I hate this thing. I have heard all the rave reviews and I was really excited to get it. But this toy was so far from what I imagined, I am not even sure where to start.

Materials: Silicone (massager) & ABS (cap)

Dimensions: 7″ x 1.25″ (2.75″ insertable)

Silicone Butterfly Kiss

To be fair, let me mention the good points before I dissect this toy and tell you why I hate it. It is made of body safe silicone. Prior versions of the Butterfly Kiss were made of jelly or TPR, which are inferior materials to silicone. This version is a much highly quality material for about the same price as the original. The Butterfly Kiss is waterproof, which is always nice. If you have a low or shallow g-spot this might provide enough stimulation for you. The pop of the bulbous head might be just the thing for you. If you have a thin labia or a clitoris that protrudes (prior to stimulation), this toy might be a great fit. Those little antenna might be enough to send you over the edge. Also, it has a good price point at less than $30 retail.

DSCN5384

This toy has two motors, one in the shaft and one on the butterfly shaped clitoral portion. I had no idea this thing had two motors. It takes 2 AAA batteries for power. Granted, that won’t give me a lot of power, but the silicone of this toy absorbs so much of the vibrations on the butterfly it was ridiculous. I have an expectation that a rabbit style vibe will deliver vibrations (or something) to the clitoris, this vibe didn’t.

The butterfly was clearly meant to deliver something awesome. The wings of this butterfly are meant to rest on either side of the labia while the antenna tickle the clitoris. The body of this butterfly could provide deep rumbly vibes when pressure is applied, but it doesn’t. The antenna are really flimsy and don’t carry vibrations like they should. I tried applying pressure with the butterfly on my clitoris but it has a dip between the wings, where the body is, that just doesn’t allow me to get good pressure there either. My best bet was to totally smash this thing into my labia and pray the vibrations would travel to my clitoris. I found this vibe’s butterfly really frustrating. I am about medium, if you are a bigger girl, (or have bigger labia) forget getting this vibe to hit the clitoris. It can’t. Also, the butterfly portion has visible imperfections in the mold. It looked cheap.

Silicone Butterfly Kiss

Silicone Butterfly Kiss

It looks kinda cute. I could see what they were going for. The shaft is short with a bulbous head. The shaft vibrates. Lots of woman love a bulbous head that provides a pop. Some may love a bulbous head with vibrations like the ones the Silicone Butterfly Kiss provides. I wanted more. I wanted the bulbous head to hit my g-spot. I looked at this toy and thought that the head is meant to provide pressure and vibrations on the g-spot. The problem is that it doesn’t. For me at least. It doesn’t provide good pressure for g-spot. I’m sorry, but it has to be said. This thing couldn’t possibly hit my g-spot right. I need pressure. I need firm pressure for g-spot orgasms. The thin shaft is just too flimsy.

The base unscrews to reveal the battery compartment. On the very bottom of the toy is the one button, which is used to turn it on and scroll through the speeds. The button makes an audible click when it is depressed. It has three speeds. Just three. Loud, louder, and loudest. The noise this toy emitted was distracting. I absolutely hate loud toys. A loud toy that can’t distract me enough with it’s vibrations is unforgivable. This toy can be heard through a closed door, down the hallway, into the next room when it is on high. Use it when you are alone, or with a partner who doesn’t mind the noise.

The vibrations on the shaft were actually pretty powerful. The saving grace with this toy is that the shaft’s bulbous head could be used to stimulate the clitoris or it could be used internally, whichever you prefer. I wish this thing would have worked for me, but it didn’t.

DSCN5378

The Silicone Butterfly Kiss can be cleaned with soap and water or a sex toy cleaner. It is waterproof so at least clean-up is easy. If you decide to try this toy, use only water-based lubrication. The box it came in said Silicone Butterfly Kiss and had a big picture of the toy. It is not very discreet but it is small enough to be used for storage. The Silicone Butterfly Kiss can be purchased at HedoVibes.

Lovehoney Flash USB Mini

Toys-For-Women_300x250b

I have been getting a lot of clitoral vibrators lately. I love this since it lets me do a quick compare of features with toys still very fresh in my mind. I also love getting new clitoral vibrators! Of the last three clitoral vibrators I have received, this is my favorite!

The Lovehoney Flash USB Mini is a nice clitoral vibe that is waterproof. It has lots of speeds and a cute little package. Also it charges really easily from my laptop, which is good because I am on my laptop a lot.

Materials: Silicone

Dimensions: 3.75″ x 0.5″

DSCN5334

I was really excited to get this vibe. Waterproof and charges by USB? I’m in! I had to have it. The base comes off of the tip at the metal in the middle. It opens to reveal the USB, which actually comes out of the base. The top has the receiving end. There is small waterproof ring that keeps this vibe dry inside even when under water. I don’t know how this is possible, but it is. I tried this vibe completely submerged and it stayed dry inside. Being waterproof makes this vibe easy to clean with soap and water or a sex toy cleaner.

Lovehoney Flash USB Mini

The silicone of this toy has a bit of drag. It is also a bit of a lint magnet. Unfortunately, it did not come with a storage pouch. The tip is angled and rounded off. It has flexibility. The silicone is only compatible with water-based lubrication. A little drop goes a long way on this toy. The base is much firmer silicone and square. The metal in the middle has the Lovehoney logo heart on the opposite side of the button.

Lovehoney Flash USB Mini

I am happy to tell you that this vibe has a strong buzzy vibrations and plenty of variety. The vibrations are much less on the base. The tip carries an almost obscene amount of vibrations. This is gonna sound crazy, but the vibrations feel almost electric. It is something very stimulating, but may be too intense for some.

It offers 3 speeds and 4 patterns. Due to the frequency of vibrations I have to mention vibrations on the handle. The handle has less vibrations than the tip, but the vibrations are powerfully buzzy, even on the handle. The Lovehoney Flash USB Mini has one button which is used to turn it on and off and scroll through the patterns. It is almost flush with the handle and doesn’t get in the way. You will have to hold it down for like 10 seconds to turn it off but it is so quiet I don’t see that as being a problem. The button response is not always consistent. Sometimes I depress the button to turn it on and it doesn’t respond. This is definitely because I do not apply the right amount of pressure to the button. Sometimes this is a bit frustrating. *I have to weigh this minor frustration against the price, which is much lower than I would have thought. It always eventually turns on after a couple tries, so for now I am going to write this off as a minor imperfection.* The button lights up, very dimly, when it is depressed. It blinks when it is charging and glows steady when it has a full charge. The light is so dim I have to cup my hand around it to see for sure. I guess it would be easy to see in the dark, but I use my laptop in a lit room. A full charge gives up to 3 hours of playtime. When the battery is low it will flash a dim red light behind the button.

Lovehoney Flash USB Mini

Oh my god! I didn’t even mention how damn quiet it is. It is almost silent. I love, love, love this vibe!

This vibe has a longish handle and is curved to fit my anatomy. It is slim enough to fit between bodies during intercourse. It could be used for shallow vaginal play, but it is not really designed to be used like that. I love to feel it on my labia and nipples as a bit of a teaser before going right to my clitoris. I have been using this vibe a whole lot since I got it for review. I find it so easy to charge and convenient. I like to patterns more for building up and then I switch it to full power to bring me to explosive orgasms.

Lovehoney Flash USB Mini

The packaging for this vibe was a paper box. The toy came nestled in plastic and it also had a small paper leaflet with some suggestions:

Trail the tip of the vibrator along the inside of your thighs, across your stomach and onto your outer labia before gently pressing the flexible tip against your clitoris. This is a great way to get used to the sensation of the vibrations against your sensitive spot and build yourself up to a powerful, satisfying orgasm.

Lovehoney Flash USB Mini

The Lovehoney USB Flash Mini is a Lovehoney exclusive, but it comes at a shocking low price! Also, everything at Lovehoney ships free and comes with a 100 day return policy…that is just in case you don’t love it.

Meet the new Flash USB Rechargeable Mini Vibrator from Lovehoney!

Posh Pocket Toyfriend

Toys-For-Women_300x250b

The Posh Pocket Toyfriend is a small discreet clitoral vibe. I had high hopes for the Posh Pocket Toyfriend. I really liked the shape of this vibe and thought it would be as fun for me as the Foxy Toyfriend was. Hello shallow buzzy clitoral vibrations in a pocket sized toy…

Materials: Silicone and ABS Plastic

Dimensions: 3.5″ x .75″

FILE954

I wanted to like this toy. The shape is nice for holding flat on the clitoris (or other body part) or turning on it’s side for more pin point vibrations. The Posh Pocket Toyfriend is not a powerhouse toy. Pushing it hard where I want the vibrations does not really help, unfortunately. It really only results in smashed buzzy vibrations, but not stronger. Lightly placing it were I want vibrations makes me want more. Then I am all like, I want more! Where are my other clitoral toys? My clit is so spoiled. Using this during sex is do-able because it is small and fits nice between bodies. Regrettably, I get so distracted with other sensations that the Posh Toyfriend fades into the background and I am left using the shape to strum my clit with it’s hook-like lip.

Posh is a discreet pocket clitoral vibrator. I think the extra silicone around the head of the tip, the hook type lip, does this toy an injustice. Silicone is not the best vibration conductor and thick hard-ish silicone like on the Posh is even worse. That coupled with the AAA battery for power and we get a vibe that isn’t quite strong enough. I liked the Foxy Toyfriend, it was adequate, but the Posh doesn’t work the same way for me. It is quiet, waterproof, easy to use and has a great shape. I am not sure what else I could ask for…oh wait, a bit more power? Ya, just a bit (or a lot) more power and I would love this toy, instead of just kinda liking it. As it is, I think is an okay toy. But not quite enough for me to make this my go to. This toy frustrated me with it’s almost enough vibrations. Just like the Foxy, it is a tickler and meant to get you started, not really finish you off. It even says so on the side!

DSCN5329

So the Posh is made of body safe silicone and plastic. It is easy to clean with soap and water or a sex toy cleaner. It is submersible, so feel free to take it in the shower, bath, or pool. The silicone is smooth and hard. Really no give at all in the material. The base is made of shiny, smooth plastic. The base screws off to reveal the battery compartment. The Posh is so quiet I can barely hear it at all. It is quieter than a cell phone on vibrate. Oh yea, and it takes 1 AAA battery for power. The battery slides in easy. The battery is loose in the compartment but does not vibrate noisily against the plastic. I am not sure how this is possible.  I sure wish Toyfriend would tell some other companies how they did this.

DSCN5332

The Posh has a slide lock for the battery which also serves as the turn on/off function. The unfortunate thing about that is that I can never remember which way to turn the base to turn it on and half the time I turn it and the base comes loose instead of turning on. Also, if you put it on with the arrow on the other side of the cap, not where the on/off words are, it will not turn on at all. Making you think that the battery is dead. Sending you on a battery hunt when all you wanna do is play with your toy. Then come to find out you had the cap on backwards… oops! More idiot proof please.

In this picture the arrow is not on the black silicone top, letting you know I had the cap on backwards.

DSCN5333

It only has one speed. I would rate it as a 2.5/5. It is not really strong, but some woman may find this is quite enough…a few…like a small percentage of woman probably…the ones who get off on a cell phone vibrations…the ones who don’t know the difference between AA battery power and AAA battery vibrations. Anyways, it is buzzy. Quiet and buzzy.

Also, the box is kinda cute. It is a bit informative and not discreet. The box is a bit playful and fun looking. It comes with the toy nestles in plastic and a small leaflet about care and maintenance. No storage pouch. This toy could probably use one too since it is small enough to loose if you drop it in your big ass luggage sized purse, or your draw full of un-metionables.

DSCN5325

I think this toy would be nice as a first time sex toy. The price is nice and it has some good features. If you hate it you won’t be out a whole lot of money, and if you like it it is a steal at less than $20. If you like light vibrations then this might work for you. Those of you with a clit-o-steel better steer clear of this vibe. The Posh Pocket Toyfriend is available at Lovehoney, the sexual happiness people.

Comet G Wand

Comet

Beautiful and functional this g-spot toy is a wonderful surprise. The Comet G Wand is the best g-spot sex toy I have ever used. Admittedly, I am not a g-spot girl. I have only a few toys that work for me hitting my g-spot. But, I use this toy every chance I get. This g-spot gem works for me every time.

Materials: Glass dipped in silicone, Stainless alloy emblem

Dimensions: 7.5″ x 1.5″ (5″ insertable)

DSCN5312

Glass dipped in silicone? I didn’t get it at first. This is the perfect toy for anyone wanting to try glass, but too nervous to commit to buying. I love that this toy combines my two favorite materials for sex toys. As far as I know, the Comet G is the first toy that combines these materials. There is an indention where the materials meet making me think the glass under the silicone must be thinner. The glass gives this toy a firm shape under the silicone. The handle and the silicone end have a bit of lined texture, it was nothing I could feel in use. The silicone has the slightest bit of drag. Add a little bit of water-based lubricant and this toy slides right in. I like the look and feel of this toy.

Both Silicone and glass are easy to clean and care for. Key by Jopen toys come with a lint free storage pouch. The toy will still need to be cleaned before and after use. I use soap and water or a sex toy cleaner. Glass and silicone are both materials that do not harbor bacteria. With a bit of care this toy will last a very long time.

DSCN5323

Like the Charms Silk from Key by Jopen, the Comet G comes in a deluxe package. The Comet G is nestled in foam. There is informative slide box over the cardboard box. The black box is discreet-ish. The Package contains a lint free storage pouch under the foam that will help to keep this toy lint free. Like with the Charms Silk, the pouch is stiff and has the key logo on it.

JO-8070-10-3_3

DSCN5320

It is hard to look at the Comet g and not mention how closely it resembles the njoy Pure Wand. It is similar but the difference is what is making this toy my preference. The weight for one thing. Although both the Pure Wand and the Comet G are both weighted toys, the Comet G is about 1/2 lb lighter. It weighs 1 lb. The Pure Wand can be used at either end, and the Comet G cannot. I prefer the smaller end of the Pure Wand, while the large size of the Comet G works perfect for me as well. I cannot explain this, my g-spot has it’s own preferences.

I found that the Pure wand required a bit of practice to get it to work. I didn’t need any practice with this toy. This toy found my g-spot very easily and worked well with other clitoral toys. The firmness of this toy is great for adding pressure to the g-spot. I like a bit of pressure and I found manipulating this toy was much easier than the Pure Wand. The curve in this toy is great for rocking/thrusting. The head is rounded and comfortably hits g-spot. The large bulb shaped head gives this toy a bit of pop at the vaginal entrance. I really liked this because it creates a bit of a “pop” at the vaginal entrance.

The Comet G is a large toy. I don’t consider myself a size queen and I had no trouble using this. I always warm up a bit first with a clitoral toy. The thing that saves this toy for me is that it is so curved. I didn’t have a problem with it being too big because I don’t have to insert all of it to enjoy the g-spot action. The fact that it is so tapered means it slides in easily after you get past the head. Admittedly, the glass doesn’t work so well with lubrication. The handle will be really slick if you get lube on it. I didn’t even come close to getting lube on it, so this wasn’t really a problem for me.

The pictures don’t show it well, but the handle has a purple tint to it. The Comet G comes in blue, purple or pink. The Comet G comes with a year warranty. You have to register the product first to enjoy the warranty. I would recommend this toy to any girl who want to enjoy g-spot play. The Comet G can be purchased here.
