Fun Factory UFO

UFO

I got the Fun Factory UFO to review from FunWares. Like the Fou this vibe is crazy looking. The shape of this vibe is that of a UFO.

Dimensions: 3.5″ diameter x 2″ height

Materials: Silicone and ABS Plastic

In the tradition of the Yooo and the Fou the Fun Factory UFO is bizarre in shape and offers lots of variety for uses with a bit of imagination. The silicone on the UFO is matte and has a bit of drag to it. It will pick up hair and lint but gets slick with a bit of water-based lubrication. It has a rounded shape with flexible band of silicone surrounding it. The Silicone has a bit of give to it. This toy is rounded off and has no edges for pin-point stimulation.

The Fun Factory UFO has three buttons, a (+) and a (-) to turn it on and off and the vibration up or down. It also has a (*) button that controls the 3 vibration patterns. The UFO has 5 levels of vibrations. On the first two levels the silicone band barely moves. The silicone absorbs the vibrations very effectively. This vibe is not strong on the band even at the highest level. The bottom of the vibe is rounded off and doesn’t do much better to transmit the vibrations. The UFO motor sits right under the plastic cap and, unless direct pressure is applied to the cap itself, it vibrates against it. The UFO is loud and it’s vibrations are unimpressive.

The UFO is completely waterproof. You could take this into the tub or shower. I found the massage qualities of this vibe to be rather disappointing. It seems that whatever rotating motor is within the UFO is small and not powerful enough to overcome the silicone it is encased in.

The UFO features the “magic touch” feature found in the Yooo and the Fou. The buttons light up whenever the UFO is handled to let me know the battery is still good. The charger for the UFO comes seperatly packaged and is the standard click n’ charge that all rechargeable Fun Factory use. Fun Factory uses a magnetic charger that keeps the toy closed and waterproof. The logo on the charger lights up when it is charging. The first charge needs to be for at least 8 hours before the first use.

Placing it flat over my clitoris was a bit difficult. The best I could do was to turn it on it’s end to hit my clitoris. I tried to use it for massage, but Miguel was unimpressed by the strength. When I applied the rounded end to his perineum he said it felt good but the size of this vibe meant it hit his scrotum, he did not like that. It was kinda nice for nipple play. Honestly, the volume was too much for me to use this vibe on a regular basis.

The satin and sheer pouches are a nice touch. I am loving that Fun Factory is finally sending out their toys with storage pouches. I am not loving this toy though. I imagine this is the same motor that is found inside the Fou, which I actually liked and use often, despite the volume. So what gives? The shape fit comfortably in the palm of my hand but it just wasn’t strong enough. The weak vibrations coupled with the volume means this toy will see very little action in my collection.

Cowboy Lust

I got the book “Cowboy Lust” for review. This is a compilation book edited and co-authored by Delilah Devlin. Cowboy Lust has 15 stories and includes a Foreward by Lorelei James.

This a great concept of a book about cowboys and the women that love them. I had a hard time getting into the stories though. The erotic scenes in this book had the volume turned way down. I had to double check but yes this is the same author that gave us Girls that Bite one of my absolute favorite erotic compilations. I expected so much more, too much maybe.

Riding Double by Cari Quinn. A woman tries to entice the man she is lusting after to get with her twin sister for a threesome. I had issues with the idea that any twin would entertain thoughts of sex with their sibling.

Under the Southern Cross by Cheyenne Blue. This woman finds herself in a bit of trouble and hiding from the law in the Outback in Australia. It sounds so far fetched but the characters had depth and I loved the juicy scene between the damsel in distress and her cowboy hero.

Banging the Cowboy by Randi Alexander was a great story about a female drummer working at a club. She daydreams about this big cowboy that she keeps running into. He has a bad reputation but she tames the beast within with her girly charm and shy demeanor. They end up in a hot tangle and they live happily ever after.

Ladies Love Country Boys by Cat Johnson. A woman stranded next to a rodeo and waiting for a tow truck decides to pass the time with anonymous sex. You only live once right?

Drought by Micheal Bracken. A teacher in a small town takes a tumble during a morning run. Her hero just happens to find her in a ditch and helps her in more ways than one.

Roped by Charlene Tegila was about a woman that goes home for Christmas. She is little sad being single and seeing her sister’s perfect life, so she ventures out to a Christmas party at a neighboring ranch. The host is a ghost from her past that gets her all tied up.

Rough Stock by M. Marie. A ranch hand watches in anticipation as her overconfident lover tries to mount a horse in the rodeo. She just happens to be the boss’ daughter.

The Ranch Hand by Sedona Fox. A woman finds out her father’s ranch is being sold, but the buyer is much closer then she thinks.

Small-Town Famous by Lissa Matthews. A fiery woman goes after a woman that is getting too close to her beau. Her time in jail gets interesting as he finally pops the question.

The Storm by Tahira Iqbal. A strong headed woman heads home in a storm and ends up in a ditch. The accident leads her back to an estranged lover.

Some Like it Dirty by Kimber Vale. A big city woman breaks down on her way to find an organic milk farmer for an ad campaign. It’s too good to be true that her hero arrives and ends up being a perfect fit for her and the company.

Raney’s Last Ride by Chaparrita. A woman scorned sets out to get revenge on the outlaws that killed her husband. The crafty woman gets all her holes filled and her revenge. A badass smut story with a happy ending!

Runaway Bride by Delilah Devlin. A kidnapping allows this husband to get to know his naughty bride-to-be properly. The sex in this story is hot, Delilah knows how to dish out details.

She Don’t Stay the Night by Anna Meadows. Unfortunately, this book ends as flat as it beings with this story written in Spanglish. I couldn’t follow this story at all.

I don’t live in the “deep south” and I may just be missing something about the lifestyle of cowboys. With the exception of a few stories I didn’t really enjoy this book. It didn’t have characters I could believe in. The characters are perfectly good, or bad, or business, or country. The Cowboys in some of these stories are just too fictionally perfect to be believed. I really wanted to like this book. I earnestly gave it a shot, but it didn’t really thrill me.

This book was more romance and not so much erotic. If Cowboy Romantic Fiction is your thing you might just love this book.

Wild Orgasm Pierced Flicker 2

The Pierced Flicker 2 is from the Wild Orgasm line at California Exotics. California Exotics have 5 variations in this line. I have previously reviewed the Wild orchid from this line, but I was a bit disappointed. The Pieced Flicker 2 is very similar except the clitoral stem is pierced with a metal stud that adds to stimulation.

There are over 200 possible combinations to choose from on this toy. It has 2 synchronized motors with 8 different speeds and 8 levels of rotation with 3 different functions. The Pierced Flicker 2 is totally waterproof. This toy also has a dedicated on/off switch. The toy is really easy to use, with 6 buttons on the control panel. The left two up and down arrows control the rotation of the shaft. The right up and down arrows control the clitoral shaft speed. The top button is a dedicated on/off switch, nice if you need to turn it off quickly. The middle button starts the function patterns which can be used independently on either the clitoral arm or shaft or together so the patterns are synched.

The head is tapered a bit but then there is a ridged ring with a bullet in the ring. The bullet adds to stimulation at the vaginal entrance and feels nice for thrusting. I was wishing this toy was a bit more curved because the buzzy vibrations would have been ideal for g-spot. The Pierced Flicker 2 has tons of variety, but it is a bit too noisy for my taste. The material of this rabbit is very soft and pliable, which actually helps to translate the vibrations. The downside is the clitoral arm. I liked the metal stud, but the clitoral arm is a bit flimsy. I had to hold the clitoral arm in place in order benefit from the vibrations.

 

This toy is great for use in the shower or bath since it is completely waterproof. To insert this toy I needed a bit of lubrication. I use water-based lubrication, but silicone based lubrication will work as well. Silicone lubrication is also great for water play as well. It is also easy to clean, The Pierced Flicker 2 takes 3 AA batteries, which are not included. The batteries are easy to insert. The base of the toy screws off and has a ring which keeps the toy watertight. The batteries insert easily into a battery compartment. The battery case has a red ribbon on it which makes the battery compartment easy to insert and take out.

The packaging for the Pierced Flicker 2 is a paper box with the toy snuggled inside in a plastic mold. The packaging is very minimal and has information about the product all over it.

Honestly, my opinion of the Pierced Flicker 2 was a bit of a let down. It has a nice concept, but I don’t like the flimsy clitoral arm and I don’t like the material. TPR is ideal for rabbits, due to it’s soft pliability. It is great for carrying vibrations, but it is porous. The porous nature of this material means it has a much shorter shelf life and it is not shareable at all since it hold bacteria which can be transmitted in the material. The clitoral arm did not have enough pressure to give me pleasure and the rotating shaft did not impress me. The ridges on the shaft made this toy nice for thrusting but not having a g-spot curve made getting off on this toy a bit of a chore for me. The vibrations were very buzzy, and they were not strong enough in my opinion.

Mojowijo

Mojowijo is a set of toys for him and her which uses new technology via a wii remote control over the internet. Unfortunately, this toy has more cons than pros. It is large and too cumbersome to be used well comfortably. It looks nice and reasonable in this picture doesn’t it?

Okay, so this vibe was a bit intimidating in size and instruction. I am a simple person. I just want a vibe to get me off. The thought of someone on the other side of the internet controlling my vibrator was a bit intriguing but it turns out to be much too complicated. Case and point the required hardware:

  • Nintendo WiiTM remote control (Note: Nintendo Wii Gaming Console is NOT required)
  • PC with Windows 7® operating system and a Bluetooth® adapter (Note: Windows XP® and Vista® operating systems are NOT SUPPORTED)
  • 1GHz or faster 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64) processor
  • 1 GB RAM (32-bit) or 2 GB RAM (64-bit)
  • High Speed Internet Connection
  • Active Skype® account

Once I got over the list I agreed to review this product. It came nicely packaged and included a sample of lube, the vibe itself, the wii remote holder extension and batteries for the vibe itself. The vibe takes two AAA batteries, the wii remote takes 2 AA batteries. Assuming you already have the wii controller, of course…

Underneath the foam cut out was a “use and pleasure guide” dvd with better instructions on how to use this vibe. It seems pretty simple but I never ended up using this vibe over the internet. The directions give more than enough to get you started. I imagine this could work if you will be seperated from your partner or just wanted someone else to have control. This vibe can be used a few different ways: the vibe by itself with no extension, the vibe with the extension giving you control or the vibe with the extension giving someone else control via the internet. The vibe has a few different “caps” that provide the base. Out of the box the vibe has the standard cap on it which has a turn style control on it.

Then you have to pick if you want to use it with the standard cap or add the wii remote to the handle.

The wii remote slides into the handle and some of the buttons are available through the windows. The remote can then be used to control the handle, or you can link up with Skype and the Mojowijo software and let someone else control this vibe for you. Mojowijo is planning to have chat room available where you can meet other players who have the software. The concept is great. The vibe will then be motion actiavted and someone can control the vibrations, once you connect to them, with just the flick of a wrist. The remotes will use the same technology that made wii so revolutionary.

Unfortunately, the vibrations are a bit diffuse. This would be great for my g-spot if the shaft was more solid. It does not provide enough pressure for me though.

It is much better with just the vibe sans the extension arm. Once I got the arm on it, it is too long to maneuver without cramping or being in an awkward angle. The shaft is flexible and feels hollow. It is kinda flimsy when pressure is applied. The shaft does have small raised bump which is nice for added stimulation when used externally on the clitoris. The vibration level is not strong enough for clitoral stimulation for me.

The male counterpart to this vibe is not useful at all. Miguel described it as “less than useless”. I hate to be so harsh about this but if you look at it with the handle you can see that this is no pleasure object, it is a big tease. Even without the handle, the shaft is too long to be held comfortably. Maybe if I ever need to try to stimulate Miguel with difuse buzzy vibratons on an open ring from like 6 feet away this vibe will come in handy. In the meantime, Miguel couldn’t give this any sort of good review. He hated it and said it didn’t even feel good. The textured ring is very flimsy and does not provide firm contact when used.

 

The Mojowijo is not waterproof, with all of the extra bit of electrical smartness that is to be expected I guess. The silicone is very smooth and not tacky at all.

This vibe had such a great concept, but it did not deliver where it really mattered. If they make one with more power anytime soon, I might be interested. For now I will only say this vibe will work if you like teaser vibrations on a flimsy shaft. As for the male version, I do not recommend this vibe at all.

Fun Factory Delight Review

The Delight from Fun Factory is a rechargeable dual stimulator vibe. The fun look of this vibe enticed me, I envisioned g-spot stimulation. I have had some dual simulators let me down so I was not counting on clitoral stimulation at all, which is a good thing thing since this toy did not deliver. I was more than a little disappointed when I finally got my hands on it.

First let me tell you the good news….

FunFactory makes nothing but toys with the best materials. I have enjoyed every single product I have review from them, (until now, that is). This vibe is from the “click n’ charge” line. It comes with the recharging cord in a separate box. The recharger uses a magnet, and it easily clicks into place to charge. The Fun Factory logo lights up when it is charging. This vibe will need to be fully charged before using, a full charge can take up to 12 hours.

The vibe has an easy to understand 2 button interface using (+) and (-) buttons. The vibe offers 8 levels of vibration intensity and 3 different patterns. Hold down the (+) to get to the patterns, press the (-) button to return to the steady vibrations. Holding down the (-) button will eventually turn it off.

The Delight has a soft silicone tip and that allows for some firm flexibility. It also has a bump that is meant to add clitoral stimulation. The curve of this vibe looks ideal ideal for g-spot. It is also available in lots of fun colors. The one I have in the pics is black and magenta, Good Vibrations also carries this vibe in violet.

The Bad News…

The shape of this vibe did nothing for me. I was a bit disappointed in the actual level of vibrations, and it is NOT waterproof. Plus, it is a bit noisier than anything I own by Fun Factory. The vibrations were more buzzy than rumbly. In fact, they are so much on the buzzy side I can’t even compare them to anything from Fun Factory. Most of the vibes I own from Fun factory have a deep rumbly vibe. This vibe will be not be heard through a closed door if it is under covers, but it is much noisier than most of the products I have reviewed from Fun Factory. Bummer!

Believe me when I say, I have hard time writing bad reviews. Inevitably, it is going to happen. This toy was a big downer for me. It looks so great, but didn’t work well with my anatomy at all. The head is actually too wide to hit my g-spot with any kind of accuracy. The shape just didn’t fit me. The curl at the top ended up hitting my pelvic bone when I tried to use it as prescribed.

The bump on this vibe that is suppose to hit my clitoris is positioned wrong. When I pulled it back and it did hit my clitoris, it hooked my vagina like…well, it just wasn’t comfortable. I was not able to achieve g-spot orgasm at all with this vibe, the head is too large and curved too much. I was able to achieve orgasm with this toy by using the end to work my clitoris, but it is not an ideal clitoral vibe. The head is large and does not give pin point stimulation.

The head is flexible and could offer a wide range of positions. I took two photos showing it flexed at the max so you could envision the possibilities.

Admittedly I know this vibe will work for some women. This vibe has won awards.

To clean this vibe, I used a sex toy cleaner. You can also wipe this toy down with a sex toy wipe. Unfortunately, it doesn’t come with a storage pouch either. The packaging was very nice, and the toy could be stored inside it’s box. Fun Factory included a sample of their water-based lubrication, a very thorough leaflet with instructions in like 8 languages and a small insert showing their whole line of sexy toys.

I am really surprised I couldn’t get this vibe to work for me. Believe me when I say I really tried. In the end I have to say this vibe was made for someone with a shorter clitoral to vagina length. Too bad, really.

Candy Bullet

I got a little Doc Johnson Candy Bullet from FunWares for review. This is a small bullet. It measures 2.2″ with a diameter of 0.7″. The Candy Bullet has pearl shiny color to it. It comes in white pearl, purple pearl or pink pearl. I have the pink one and I love the color.

Notice that it comes with the 3 watch batteries that power this toy, nice touch. The Candy Bullet has 7 functions and one button near the base. The bullet unscrews to reveal the battery compartment. It is also a water-proof toy. This bullet is made of ABS plastic, so it is easy to clean and maintain. I like the color, size , materials, and the fact that it is waterproof. My liking of this product stops there.

This bullet is a great example of why some people loathe the big manufacturers. I had a bit of a problem getting it to work. This bullet has 7 functions, or at least it did when I got it to work. First of all, I had a hard time getting it to work. I took the batteries out and put them back in like 4 times before it finally made the proper connection. The after about 10 mins of play I “lost” four functions. Yea, like they don’t exist anymore! Right now I only have the first three steady vibes, low, med, and high. It is a nice buzzy sensation, but wtf? Why did it just stop working like that?

Then, as if that wasn’t enough, the toy is loud. Really way too loud for such a small device. It does have a plastic tube in the battery compartment that I thought might be the problem. It says “Do Not Remove”, but I took it out to see if it would help. It didn’t. The bullet is obnoxiously loud either way. I never would have thought that looking at the package. Here is a close up look at the back…

Please make a mental note of which company made this fictitious statement on their product.

Oh yea, I almost forgot about the “warranty” that the manufacturer has on this. Straight from the Doc Johnson Website:

I love it when a manufacturer stands behind their product. I hate to see things like this, where a company would try to make even more money from a consumer that was just inconvenienced by shitty quality control. So, no I would not recommend this product at all.

♦♦ Let me point out that FunWares does carry some awesome bullets, and a very large selection of other adult products at very competitive prices. I would recommend the Crystal High Intensity Bullet by California Exotics or Le Reve 3-Speed Bullet by Pipedream Toys. FunWares can only go on what the manufacturer tells them about a product until they have it independently reviewed.
