The top 4 books were Cress, Everything, Everything, Confess and Fire Country. I read them in order, although it was a tie for Everything, Everything and Confess, (they both had the same amount of votes). I read them throughout this whole ordeal with Miguel’s surgery and my job thingy. They took my stress away in small bursts as I escaped into the world the author created.
Here’s the wrap up of my reads:
I loved Cress. I read the first two books in the series and loved them as well. I was so excited about this book, I even made a video discussion/review about this with my daughter who was the first person to tell me to read this series. I have it 4 stars. Here’s the link to my review.
Everything, Everything was such a sweet read. I would not have read this book so early, it doesn’t even come out until September 1st, but since y’all insisted, I read it. I loved it. The characters were so damn adorable. I gave it 4 stars. Here is the link to my review.
Then, I went and read Confess. I was actually dreading reading this. Because it is new adult contemporary, I was such it would be a bore. I was so very wrong. This was an excellent read. I have it 4 stars. Here is the link to my review.
I started reading Fire Country on the last day of this read-a-thon (which was Sunday). I am about 1/2 way through it and I am enjoying this so far. I should have my review up by Wednesday.
I had so much fun with this, that I might ask you to vote for what I should read more often. (you guys have great taste!).
