This week we are talking about our favorite shows.
I have a funny relationship with television. I know it must get jealous for my time since I can barely pay attention over the book in my hand. There are a few, just a few, that make me put the book down because I don’t want to miss anything. These are the shows I can watch marathons of even though I have already seen them.
The Walking Dead
Not that I am all about the violence. I actually didn’t watch the whole first season when it first started. But my Miguel was a die hard fan right from the start. This is much more than just a show about a zombie apocalypse.
Alaskan Bush People
I just love this show about this family of nine living in the wild of Alaska. I just love seeing how they live without any help all by themselves: hunting, building, protecting, scavenging, inventing, and taking care of each other.
It’s the toughest job in the world. I am so fascinated watching these guys fight the Bering sea, and I will admit I have grown really attached to all of the ships and crews and captains.
Naked and Afraid
Get past the ridiculous title. This show is really good. These people really suffer through 21 days in the wild. I really enjoy watching people struggle from the comfort of my bed (no mosquitoes).
The Big Bang Theory
This show makes me laugh, even if I have already heard the joke. It is so funny!
