This week we are talking about things we HATE. Those idiosyncratic things that drive us nuts are what make us unique. I know there are some universal hates like people who can’t respect personal space, people who cut in line, and people who can’t take an end of the conversation hint. This post is about the things I personally cannot stand. I am pretty sure they will sounds ridiculous to some people but I can’t help it, these things really bother me.

Here are my top 5:

People Who Talk With Food in Their Mouth:

giphy-83521Finish chewing and then talk to me. This drives me nuts. It is disgusting in my opinion. No one wants to be hit with your half masticated food while you tell a story.

Leaving the Shower Curtain Open:

I-hate-that-gifSeriously, the shower curtain molds when it is bunched up and wet. I like it closed. How hard is it to close the damn thing when you get out of the shower? I have found it is not that hard for people when they see how I will just flip the fuck out when it is open.

White People with Dreadlocks:

35kg0jGross! These people just makes my skin crawl. I just can’t imagine wanting to hang out with someone who hasn’t washed their hair for a very long time on purpose. Plus, there is always an odor associated with these people.

People who don’t enunciate:

tumblr_mlt1awtE8c1qdtcexo1_250I get it when people have a speech impediment. That I can tolerate. But I  seriously have no patience for people are too lazy to enunciate. The mother in me wants to correct even speaking grammar. It’s hard to focus on what someone is saying when they mumble. It just kills me.

When People Tell Me What They Dreamed Last Night:

tumblr_m3t9418aJZ1qi9dhho1_500I just don’t care. I think dreams are personal and might have some meaning for the dreamer. Unless you want me to try to dissect it for you, I don’t want to hear about it. I don’t tell other people my dreams. (honestly, the worst words my of my kids can say to me is “do you wanna know what i dreamed?” this retelling could take like 30 minutes and it has nothing to do with reality)

What are your pet-peeves?
