Alchemy xii - April is the fourth episode of the Alchemy xii series—if you're new to it, start with the free prologue, Alchemy xii - New Year's Eve.
Harry has a couple of surprises up his sleeve for Olivia at the beginning of April, but only one of them is good. And the other hardly seems fair—to get hauled in front of the probation board when she didn't even realise she was on probation… But there's worse to come. If Olivia wants to retain her place at Alchemy until the end of the year, she's going to have to prove once and for all that she can submit to Harry. And it's something nobody seems to believe she can do—least of all her. The stage is set for the toughest seven days of Olivia's Alchemy training so far…
This is book 4 in the Alchemy XII series. This series is coming out in monthly installments. In New Years Eve Prologue, we meet Harry and Olivia. In Alchemy XII-January Olivia is accepted into the Alchemy training program with Harry Lomax, and Harry lays on the rules. In Alchemy XII- February Olivia reacts to being cut off by Harry and she deals with her apprehension to this lifestyle. In Alchemy XII- March we see how Olivia deals with jealousy in her face and she conquers some of her other fears. Alchemy XII-April finds Olivia on probation from the program at Alchemy and she gets collared.
In this story Olivia learns what it means to be a sub 24/7. She is in trouble for not being very submissive and Harry tries to prove she is worthy for training. Harry puts Olivia through so many things and she is very resistant at first but she learns so much about what submission really means in this story. This story follows Olivia as she lives the D/s lifestyle for seven days straight. In my opinion, this edition is the best so far. Olivia really learns from this experience and the final scene in this edition shows how much she has changed. Olivia gets a chance to really prove how much she wants to be there.
Harry and Olivia seem a bit distant in this story. Olivia is figuring out that she can’t do this just for him, being a sub is something she needs to do for herself. Harry is just so Harry and his position as the master of more than just one is hard for me to grasp. Olivia is really coming to terms with it. I see in this edition how she can accept it. This edition ended at almost the start of something. I cannot wait to see what the author has in store for Olivia next!
