California Exotics sent me the Black Label Jack Rabbit Anniversary Edition this month. The original Jack Rabbit is over 30 years old. There are many varieties of Rabbit on the market. The duel style of stimulation is one of the most popular sex toys on the market today. I love the anniversary edition for it simplicity and easy to use functions.

The Black Label Jack Rabbit is made of silicone and completely waterproof. The silicone has a bit of drag to it and is only compatible with water based lubrication. The shaft has a rounded tip for a more life-like appearance. The shaft has a grooved circular design on the shaft. The grooves do not add to stimulation at all, they are merely decorative. I couldn’t feel them what-so-ever when it was inserted. The silicone on this toy is firm with a little bit of give. The shaft bends slightly to allow for the rotation of the shaft. It does not gyrate a whole lot, about 1/2″ around.

The ears on the clitoral shaft are about an 1″ long and carry the vibrations very well right to the tip.

I found the Black Label Jack Rabbit easy to use. It has a five button interface with a dedicated on/off switch. It has three motors: in the base of the clitoral shaft, at the shaft base, and near the tip of the shaft. It has three speeds of vibration and three speeds of rotation. There is a little blue light above the buttons that comes on when you turn it on. Once you turn it on it sits idle until you hit increase the vibration or hit the function button.

The middle (⦶) button turns the Black Label Jack Rabbit on and off. The (W) button controls the 7 functions of vibration, pulsation and escalation. The (ⴷ) and (ⴸ) buttons increase or decrease the vibrations. The nice thing about this Rabbit is that you can use either the shaft rotation/vibration and clitoral vibration independently, although the functions do have a bit of a learning curve. Figuring out how to get the functions to work separately was part of the fun for me.

The slight rotation made this product more stimulating for me since it did not irritate my vaginal walls. This rabbit is thick and should be great for those that love a full feeling. The rotation of the shaft was a small reminder of the fullness as the clitoral shaft buzzed me into orgasm.

The Black Label Jack Rabbit takes three AA batteries. I haven’t had the product long enough to be able to tell how great it is on batteries. I can tell you that I have had three extended sessions of 10+ minutes with the toy and it seems to be going strong. The battery compartment was slightly difficult to open/close. It took a bit of fumbling and some muscle to get the cap to open and close. It has a slanted slide lock on the base. It maintains a water tight seal, I tested in the shower and while washing it. The batteries can be stored separately in the battery case.

The Jack Rabbit was a bit noisy. Okay, it’s loud. This toy is extremely pleasurable, if you can get past the noise. I recommend using this toy in a loud environment or when you are home alone. If that is not your style then this toy probably isn’t for you. The vibrations are pretty awesome, but really it is those rabbit ears and the subtle rotation that makes this toy good. The volume of this toy is awful.

 

 

 

The toy is easy to clean with soap and water or a sex toy cleaner. The Jack Rabbit came packaged in a paper box that was full of information about the rabbit. It was not discreet and too big to really serve as a storage box. I store this toy in a drawer with the rest of my silicone toys. Keep this toy away from inferior materials.

 

 

I really loved this rabbit. The only downside I could see was that it was loud and hard to get direct pressure on the clit, but the buzzy ears made that a non-issue for me. When I used this in the shower the noise didn’t bother me so much. The ears fit perfectly on either side of my clitoris and stimulated my labia as well. I would recommend this rabbit to a friend. The Black Label Jack Rabbit Anniversary Edition also comes in a rechargeable style for a bit more money. I would love to get my hands on that because I wonder if it is as loud as the battery operated version.
