(In case you were wondering there is no sex in this post, I am going to drone on and on about the shit in my head to keep it from exploding. Not everything is sex. Although, for me, this is just as important.)

I ran a marathon in 2005. I like to remember this and let my mind drift back to that time in my life. I am a marathon finisher, I did it. What drives my mind back to that now has become my most pressing issue. My birthday is coming up, you see. I am a year older. I am finding out that my metabolism is not as resilient as it used to be. My lifetime struggle with my weight and body image is in my face everyday. Most days i look in the mirror and see some larger version of the person I want to be. I have been trying to wrap my head around what makes a habit. This might be propelled in part, by the fact that I shifted my over 20 year habit of smoking to vaping with relative ease. I haven’t had a “real” cigarette in weeks and I feel great about that. How much harder could it be to make other things in my my life a habit? I have been reading all sorts of books on the subject. My intellectual self is in heaven these days. Class is coming to a close, time to put some of these ideas into action. I need to make some changes in order to get myself right.

I went to the grocery store the other day…long story short, I found myself unable to make even simple decisions. I second guessed even my second guesses. As I finished this painful trip I reflected on how when I am really tired I just want to be told what to do. I am letting this happen all over the place in my life, I am too tired to care. I need to make a real decision right now. My apathy has left me out of shape and unmotivated.

Nothing really great is ever easy. I have a full schedule and this will be one more thing keeping me “busy”. That moment that I finished the marathon, it didn’t happen by chance or accident. The Fun Factory Yooo is a dual motor vibe made up of three ball shapes combined into one fun toy. This toy is powerful, fun, and whimsical but falls short of being a powerful clitoral vibe. It’s rounded edges make it fun for massage and sensory play all over the body.

This vibe is made for massage. What kind of massage is completely up to you. The texture of this vibe is matte silicone. It has drag to it, I recommend a bit of water-based lubrication for massage. Silicone lubrication will ruin the material. I think they designed this toy with almost everyone in mind. This vibe can be used for dual stimulation, with a bit inserted vaginally and then placed close to the clitoris. It is almost anatomically impossible to insert this vibe and have it rest perfectly on the clitoris. For those of you with a clit-o-steel or those that need pin-point stimulation, this vibe cannot deliver. This vibe can be used by a man or on a man if you want to get a bit creative. With a toy as whimsical as this, you almost have to be creative.

The Fun Factory Yooo has a three button interface controlling both of it’s motors. The (+) button increases the vibration intensity through it’s 8 levels and 3 patterns, the (-) button turns it back one or off if you press it to much. To turn this vibe on you have to hold down the (+) button for a few seconds. All of the buttons light up and flash when it is on. Holding down the (-) button gets it to the lowest setting and it flashes a few times when it is on it’s lowest setting, then just press the button once more to turn it off. The third button is (*) and it gives a “turbo boost” of intense vibrations on any setting when pressed. If you hold the (*) button for a few seconds it will stay on that setting until you press it again. The turbo boost is a nice feature. The buttons are covered with silicone but I found them hard to press, even with my nails.

The sound coming from this vibe was a bit of a turn-off. Two motors can make a bit of noise. The nice thing about this vibe is that it is completely waterproof and submerge-able. In the bath tub this vibe’s sounds will be muffled quite a bit. I don’t have time for long baths full of playing with toys. Unfortunately, I only have time for showers with quick discreet orgasms. This toy is muffled by shower sounds, thankfully. It might be heard through a closed door if the house was quiet, so use a bit of white noise or turn on the television if you are scared of nosy ears.

Fun Factory uses a click n’ charge method for most of it’s rechargeable vibrators. I love that they are all standard and interchangeable. The Yooo recharger comes in a separate box but attaches magnetically to the logo to charge. Once it is charging the logo on the charger lights up, the light goes off once it reaches a full charge. The Yooo cannot be overcharged and the buttons flash intermittently when it is not in use. I think it is trying to tell me it still has power. Fun Factory calls this feature “magic touch”, it does it even when I don’t touch it.

To clean this vibe you can use soap and water, a sex toy cleaner, or a 10% bleach solution. Fun Factory still doesn’t send us any kind of storage bag with their toys. If you are going to store this toy next to other sex toys, make sure they are compatible. The packaging for this toy was the standard Fun Factory box with the instructions, a leaflet showing the whole Fun factory line, and a sample of ToyFluid (a water-based lubricant made by Fun Factory).

 

This vibe can be used on the labia, perineum, breasts, around the shaft, or on the clitoris. It is fun for massage on almost any part of the body. I have included the video from Fun Factory pimping the Yooo since it shows more ways to use it then I have talked about and gives some fun illustrations.

My birthday is coming up. It has me in a reflective type of mood. What have I done with the last year of my life? More than not I think about what I have done sexually. Mojowijo is a set of toys for him and her which uses new technology via a wii remote control over the internet. Unfortunately, this toy has more cons than pros. It is large and too cumbersome to be used well comfortably. It looks nice and reasonable in this picture doesn’t it?

Okay, so this vibe was a bit intimidating in size and instruction. I am a simple person. I just want a vibe to get me off. The thought of someone on the other side of the internet controlling my vibrator was a bit intriguing but it turns out to be much too complicated. Case and point the required hardware:

• PC with Windows 7® operating system and a Bluetooth® adapter (Note: Windows XP® and Vista® operating systems are NOT SUPPORTED)
• 1GHz or faster 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64) processor
• 1 GB RAM (32-bit) or 2 GB RAM (64-bit)
• High Speed Internet Connection
• Active Skype® account

Once I got over the list I agreed to review this product. It came nicely packaged and included a sample of lube, the vibe itself, the wii remote holder extension and batteries for the vibe itself. The vibe takes two AAA batteries, the wii remote takes 2 AA batteries. Assuming you already have the wii controller, of course…

Underneath the foam cut out was a “use and pleasure guide” dvd with better instructions on how to use this vibe. It seems pretty simple but I never ended up using this vibe over the internet. The directions give more than enough to get you started. I imagine this could work if you will be seperated from your partner or just wanted someone else to have control. This vibe can be used a few different ways: the vibe by itself with no extension, the vibe with the extension giving you control or the vibe with the extension giving someone else control via the internet. The vibe has a few different “caps” that provide the base. Out of the box the vibe has the standard cap on it which has a turn style control on it.

Then you have to pick if you want to use it with the standard cap or add the wii remote to the handle.

The wii remote slides into the handle and some of the buttons are available through the windows. The remote can then be used to control the handle, or you can link up with Skype and the Mojowijo software and let someone else control this vibe for you. Mojowijo is planning to have chat room available where you can meet other players who have the software. The concept is great. The vibe will then be motion actiavted and someone can control the vibrations, once you connect to them, with just the flick of a wrist. The remotes will use the same technology that made wii so revolutionary.

Unfortunately, the vibrations are a bit diffuse. This would be great for my g-spot if the shaft was more solid. It does not provide enough pressure for me though.

It is much better with just the vibe sans the extension arm. Once I got the arm on it, it is too long to maneuver without cramping or being in an awkward angle. The shaft is flexible and feels hollow. It is kinda flimsy when pressure is applied. The shaft does have small raised bump which is nice for added stimulation when used externally on the clitoris. The vibration level is not strong enough for clitoral stimulation for me.

The male counterpart to this vibe is not useful at all. Miguel described it as “less than useless”. I hate to be so harsh about this but if you look at it with the handle you can see that this is no pleasure object, it is a big tease. Even without the handle, the shaft is too long to be held comfortably. Maybe if I ever need to try to stimulate Miguel with difuse buzzy vibratons on an open ring from like 6 feet away this vibe will come in handy. In the meantime, Miguel couldn’t give this any sort of good review. He hated it and said it didn’t even feel good. The textured ring is very flimsy and does not provide firm contact when used.

 

The Mojowijo is not waterproof, with all of the extra bit of electrical smartness that is to be expected I guess. The silicone is very smooth and not tacky at all.

This vibe had such a great concept, but it did not deliver where it really mattered. If they make one with more power anytime soon, I might be interested. For now I will only say this vibe will work if you like teaser vibrations on a flimsy shaft. As for the male version, I do not recommend this vibe at all.

The Mojowijo is currently priced at $119 for each one seperately, or $229 for the pair. They also have same sex partners in mind as they offer male-male sets or female-female sets right next to male-female sets. The website they have is very user friendly and has a list of FAQ as well as lots of places to get support. This vibe has a good concept…

The good folks at SheVibe have offered a Tantus Tsunami for one of my readers. I just reviewed the Tantus Tsunami because I was curious to see how it would stack up against the Rippler. The Tsunami is pretty awesome in it’s own right. It looked kind of similar to me, but this toy comes with a removable vibrating bullet, which makes it even better. The bullet is water-proof and powered by an N-1 battery and like all Tantus products, the battery is included. The vibrations travel up the shaft to create a buzzy diffuse vibe all the way to the g-spot curve. All Tantus products are made of body-safe silicone which makes them perfect for sharing. Looking at this dildo I am sure you can guess it is harness-able with a 1.5″ width at the base. The width is standard and should fit most harnesses.
